The pier is clean and does provide nice views back to land but it’s a little dead in comparison to say Brighton Pier. It’s worth a walk around and kids will love the amusement arcade at the end but an hour is probably enough to get a trip around it

It is a long pier some amusements not very good but the cafe near the end is fantastic, very very good service not expensive and some cakes to die for.

It was weekday so it was rather quite. A good place to spend time outdoor if the weather is good. And it is a must to enjoy your favourite flavour of ice-cream while enjoying the cool sea breeze. We can even go for a long walk along the coast and then pop in to the shops in the town centre. To fill our hungry stomach, just look for the fish and chips which can be found so easily.

I love the pier. They play old jazz standards over the PA sometimes and it's just a relaxing, soothing kind of place. The view along the coast is lovely and it's worth going there on a summer night just after dark to look down at the lights.
