I love the pier. They play old jazz standards over the PA sometimes and it's just a relaxing, soothing kind of place. The view along the coast is lovely and it's worth going there on a summer night just after dark to look down at the lights.

Lovely here in the summer lots of different places to eat different types of food lots of shops lots of things to see and do here a nice day out with the family or just with your loved one all by yourself

I like to visit piers to see what surprises are in store, eastbourne pier has a lovely tea room, a shop which sold household items but mainly souvenirs, mainly London based products not so much eastbourne. Bit disappointing with the souvenirs if I wanted London keyrings etc I'd have gone to London.

List a lot in ambience since the fire. Now just an open space - too windy or wet in bad weather and too open and exposed when very hot.
Lots of people flouting smoking and alcohol rules and no enforcement.
