Lovely old peer, great simple tea room in the middle and then the usual games and gifts, but excellent views of the Channel

I didn’t actually visited the pier as I didn’t have much spare time and it’s not really my thing but the building itself is gorgeous. Took some lovely pictures and it was really nice to admire the few times I walked past it during my stay.

Came here for the Eastbourne airshow. Amazing experience and the atmosphere was lovely. Especially during the grand finale. The pier is nice and the beach seems well maintained. Would recommend a visit!

In a county that REALLY loves piers, this is one of the better ones not as tacky as some and not as semi derelict as others

Nice clean pier, nothing exciting there, other than gaming places and few eateries. Nice chippy in the front and a decent gift shop.

Free to enter. So pleased the pier was saved after the fire. Lovely walk out to sea with tea rooms and bar. Don't bother with the useless Lions arcades (reviewed separately). I recommend buying a delicious ice-cream from the Tuck Shop at the entrance to the pier. Please 'like' my review if you found it helpful.

Good and close to railway station. Parking could be a trouble on busy days. Stoney beach, hurts like hell after a while so make sure to have footwear. Buzz active is a nice kayak hire place. Fort fun and treasure Island are nice kids activity areas. Overall nice place to visit with family.

There are some shops on the pier selling hats n gifts, games arcades, fish n chip shop, other food stalls too, a pub possibly serving food at the end of the pier, plenty of outdoor seats and some picnic tables. You can walk all round the pier all the way to the end. It's a very well kept and maintained pier.
