Sadly not a patch on the Old pier before it was Tragically lost in a Fire.. A very pale Replacement probably due to lack of Funds... A great opportunity lost!😪😪😫😫☹☹!

It's every thing you would expect from a traditional seaside pier. With a Victorian Tea Room thrown in. Our visit was on a Sunday afternoon but still enjoyed a cream tea on the pier.

The rebuilt pier belongs to Eastbourne, the popular photo motif must not be missing. Whether one likes the hustle and bustle and the fair on the worthy bridge is everyone's own taste. But to stroll on the pier is a must for every visitor of this wonderful seaside resort.

Whilst approaching pier realised it’s beginning to look very traditional owner making effort to maintain and brighten appearance whilst walking around had feeling of what old pier felt like very pleasing.

Any visitor to Eastbourne should visit this great attraction. It is a very typical seaside pier but with a difference. It is well maintained, very popular even with the locals and within easy reach of the train station. A definite must for all visitors to the town.

Kids went to the amusements while I had a lovely afternoon tea in the Victorian Tea House. There is also a nice little trinket shop.
