Any visitor to Eastbourne should visit this great attraction. It is a very typical seaside pier but with a difference. It is well maintained, very popular even with the locals and within easy reach of the train station. A definite must for all visitors to the town.

Kids went to the amusements while I had a lovely afternoon tea in the Victorian Tea House. There is also a nice little trinket shop.

This Pier was refurbished some years ago after a fire and now is in very good order. Not the longest of piers in the world but from the end gives excellent perspective and views of the shingle beach. I was able to watch many swimmers training by swimming the length of the beach and then returning. Entry is free which is a rarity these days and there are numerous benches and picnic tables dotted around. The retail outlets seem reasonable and there are the usual arcades. Disabled friendly. Certainly worth a visit.

Small pier but I found a lovely little glass blowing shop. It had some lovely plain and coloured glass figures etc. I purchased a very dainty glass vase and some glass daisies which also came with dainty great leaves

I really like Eastbourne Pier, although it feels a little bare shop wise than it use to be.
Always a lovely walk around when visiting.
