A nice railway going around a fishing lake. A model railway too in a building. There's a cafe, gift shop. I would recommend for a day out with the family!

We took our 4 (almost 5) year old grandson who loved it. As per a previous review, we were pleasantly surprised, as it’s great family day out and of course the steam miniature railway which we did twice. The maze, under 5’s play area, two play areas, nice woodland walks, lakes, shop and a café. Picnic tables dotted around if you take a packed lunch. We live in Eastbourne and didn’t realise what a gem of a place we had on our doorstep. I’m sure we’ll be going again one day.

A bit expensive - about 10 pounds for a ride around the lake - but this is the UK and I'm Spanish, so I guess it must be my view. As for the ride, it was fun. Besides, you can visit a part of the garden, which I really liked.

This is the perfect place to bring small children. There is a toddler area which has little wooden houses. I noticed several little one's enjoying themselves just opening and shutting the doors.
There's also swings, seesaw, a climbing area that looks like a boat and a lots of other equipment.
The other play area's accommodate slightly older children and you can see and hear them having fun.
The little steam train is adorable and fully supervised. Adult's and children can have a ride around the park and it's lovely to see everyone waving. You need a ticket for this but get one per person with your entry fee. Because it's almost £10 for an adult entry it's worth buying the years membership for £25 per person. We certainly all enjoyed ourselves and even spotted friends in their seventies on the train with their grandchildren.
Fairly quiet today even though its the school holidays.

Very friendly, staff cheerful and helpful. Fantastic family run attraction for all the family. Enjoyed the ride on the miniature railway which took you around the lake where you could watch people fishing. Food was freshly made, nice and hot, tasted superb. A real good afternoon out.

My 9 year old son and I visited Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway, which was highly enjoyable set in a lovely location. The track goes under a tunnel and over a bridge, with a dedicated team doing a find job in maintaining the beautiful engines on site. After the ride, we walked the nature trail within the track, which was very pleasant. Highly recommend!!

A unique theme park for children and train-loving adults, the train ride lasts for about 6 minutes and includes a tunnel, a bridge and passing through some beautiful landscapes. Definitely recommend a visit, especially on a nice summer day. Poorly connected through public transport though (bus 3 from town center is not frequent and stops a 17-min walk away), so much better to visit by car.

A very nice place to visit, clean, tidy and kids live it. Train ride is a bit short and sweet and once you have done it once it's doubtful you would pay extra to go again. I think i was expecting a little bit more for the admission price, as after an hour or so you will run out of things to see.

I don't think the place is worth the price of admition. It's a gloryfied park with a lake in the middle. All models cost money to operate. It's just 20p but considering you already pay £10 just to get in, it's bit much

It's very hard to fault this place.

It's friendly, extremely safe and the miniature railway itself is great fun.

For people that live local, it's definitely worth getting a yearly pass as it'll pay for itself after three visits.

I absolutely love it here. So clean and tidy the staff are always friendly and polite. Nice selection on food/snacks and the gift shop is lovely too. My son is 2 and loves that hes able to play on everything here. Membership is well worth it too.
