Excellent day out for 3-8 year olds. Excellent food and not too expensive. Clean and well run.

Was in Eastbourne for a 5day Holiday. Took my son to the Miniature Railway, as he has a great deal of interest in trains. Lovely place to take your child, specially if they Like Thomas the tank engine. My son is autistic and does not normally enjoy all days out, however, this day out he sure enjoyed and wanted to ride the train over and over again. Also at the Minature railway is an gift shop with Lots of Thomas Gifts. Outdoor cafe, park, Minature Railway (tickets can be purchased in gift shop, buy as much as you like then hop on) nice fishing lakes, Nature walk, woods. Great day out. Will definitely come again when we visit Eastbourne

Szczerze polecam.

Visited there as an adult couple to see the trains but it was quite apparent that it was a good place to take children as there are many other things there for them. Very popular.

We went here on my birthday as great fun day for the family. There is a miniature steam and desiel railway that you can ride on plus plenty of play areas for the kids. Also there is a few little areas that you can walk to around the lake. There is a nice little café that is quite reasonably. On the day we went it was only desiel trains running. Also they have fishing area's if you are into fishing.

So a beautiful setting for a miniature operating railway. We visited on a weekday and it was very quiet so no rush to get on a train. The grounds are wonderfully kept and there is a range of activities for children. We even spotted a heron.

When we were there, only the diesel electric loco was running and the steam locos were out but undergoing maintenance. Hey ho. There are small layouts, which are in need of maintenance, to see also.

So this leads to my gripe, it's nearly £10 each for adults to enter and that's only 1 ride on the train. Extra tickets are £1.50 a trip per adult. I get the economics of running a place like this and it needs to be this standard. But, for an adult, this is not good value. The snacks are expensive which contributes to a poorer experience and enjoyment of the time there. We left after walking the grounds, our single train ride and a coffee.

Unfortunately we won't be bringing our wider family back.

Fantastic place for kids, especially toddlers. Ride on miniature railway. Food and drinks are good for lunch as you can buy lunch box style packs or opt to buy something warm. It can get busy, which is a sign of how great it is. Lovely pond to walk around as well as play areas, secret gardens and a maze. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Absolutely brilliant family day out. Great value too at only around £10each (cheaper if getting a family ticket). Loads to do for the kids, massive park area with plenty of benches. Great maze and nature walk. Food was delicious and really reasonably priced (around £5 for panini /sandwich, 2.25 for hotdog, 6-7for jacket potato). We spent 5 hours here, really good day out.

I visited with my two young children who are 6 and 3 as a stop on our way to Hastings. We were not expecting to stay for long as it doesn’t seem like much in the park on arrival but we were so pleasantly surprised and stayed for 3.5 hours. The train ride was fun and we ended up doing an extra ride before we left. The whole park is clean and tidy and the staff very friendly and happy to help. A lovely little day out for my train enthusiast 3 year old son and husband and plenty to do for my 6 year old daughter even though she’s not as interested in trains. The playground was a big hit as well as the maze! It’s a shame we don’t live closer as we’d definitely revisit again soon!

Very reasonably priced, especially the annual pass! Always clean and well-kept, large parks & so much else to see with geese on the lake, “grandmas garden!”, the maze and other play areas separate from the main park! Miniature model trains… a good day out!
