A lovely little place located in the outskirts of Eastbourne. Nestled away behind a golf course this quint place offers a substantial miniature railway set around a large fishing pond. There’s plenty of parking and ticket prices includes 1 trip ok the steam train. Further trips can be purchased for reasonable prices. Under 3’s go free so for a family of 5 (including an under 3) you still get change for under £30.
Inside is a large seating area with various playgrounds set around the fishing pond. Two trains were running every couple of minutes when we visited which means ques are kept to a minimum. A cafe is available for hot and cold foods as well as a gift shop with all things train related. There are several small railway displays which you can operating for 20p which keeps the kids interested. The highlight is the train journey which snakes around the pond, though tunnels and Over bridges. There’s plenty of chances for waving to passers by and the kids loved the steam. Overall a good day out and well priced for what you get. Worth a visit if your into trains

Lovely day out for all the family and nice cafe with food and drink options. Be aware that it's not dog friendly - dogs aren't allowed in the park at all.

My 5 year old boy adored it here. There is quite a bit to do. There is a large playground area, a maze, a smaller playground. It has a really good area to walk around plus of course the mini train. There is a good selection of food on offer also. Great place will definitely be going back.

A really nice place for young children. Different playing grounds, a maze, pleasant gardens and a short trail. Not forgetting the train ride!
Hats off to the train driver who drives the train all day to make children smile.

Ticket price includes the single train ride which lasts a few minutes.

Apart from the maze (and train ride?), older children may need a bit more.

A wonderful day out every time! There were lots of people there today but it didn't feel crowded or busy. We barely had to queue for train rides and there are plenty of benches and spaces for picnics. Fun for all ages, but especially train lovers.

Not a lot other than the train ride and play park. Even charge 20p to see the model trains go round.
