A lovely and beautiful place in Eastbourne. Features a miniature railway which travels around the outskirts past a lovely fishing lake and wooded area. The little locos are really great and there are quite a few of them. The day I visited there were no mini steam engines in service , there was a replica of an old BR diesel loco which did a great job pulling the little sit over carriages along. The entrance price includes one train trip but additional tickets can be purchased for £1.50.
The fishing lake is very tranquil and quite beautiful. It's possible to walk all the way around it and if you are lucky you'll see plenty of birds, there is even a bird watching hut where I saw a woodpecker amongst others.
There is a woodland walk and a garden area with fountains and also a small maze.
For kids there are various picnic areas and play parks and there is also a fun mini golf course which again is included in the entry price.
Food, drinks, ice creams are all available. I had a tasty milkshake which was refreshing on a warm day.
All in all a nice visit, it's primarily for younger kids but I like trains of any kind so I liked that part very much but it was also really nice to walk around the lake and enjoy the tranquility.
Parking is free.

We visited here during the Easter holidays for the first time and we had a wonderful time here with our two your children. You get on ride on the stream train as part of your entrance fee and £1.50 pp after that. It has a very big playground to play in and a 9 hole crazy golf.
You can walk around the lake with a little playground at the far side. I great place to spend the day or half a day. I thought it was on the little expensive side for whats here, but nevertheless a fun place to come.

We've held membership here for years and I consider it to be the best value half day out for kids under 10 anywhere in Sussex.
As well as the trains there are 4 separate play areas (one for under 4s only), a hedge maze, a lakeside walk, a 'fossil cave', and now miniature golf - all of which are free and included in your admission price.

Petit parc trankil avec petit train. Mini-golf. Jeux enfant. De quoi manger. Pour le prix franchement ça permet de faire passer une demi journée.

Value for money has dropped a lot in recent years. You can no longer get a family ticket, so basically, it's £60 for a family of 5 to have 1 train ride and play in park / play ground.

Great place, always kept up to scratch, painted and you can see they're putting the money straight back into the park

Extra !

Great with kids though we still enjoyed without them, admittedly not as good value for money without kids but still enjoyed our hour or two there (we were in a rush)

What an amazing day out with the kids. Our two boys loved this place. Clearly the place is a labour of love, it shows, and isn't doesn't gouge you with it's prices like a lot of places. By the way, there is a wild fox that lives on-site; not tame and do not approach it, but it was incredible to see it wandering about.

It's a bit of a time killer for a family but nothing spectacular, consider its £10 a person when somewhere like Alton towers is about £30 and will kill a full day
