I really don’t recognise the comments about unhelpful staff - the staff, range of items the recycle and setup of the site are all fantastic. They won’t help lift items but neither will staff at any other site because of insurance issues.
As noted by others, it does have poor opening hours however, hence the 4 stars.

Inconveniently closes at midday on Saturday and Sunday when many people need the hours of a weekend to do things due to work commitments during the week. This causes longer queues resulting in more lost time.

Staff are fantastic always polite and helpful. From the guy on the gate to the staff on site ready to help you with heavy loads and assist you. The site is kept clean and tidy and staff are constantly clearing up. The shop is great selling stuff at really reasonable prices.

Courteous, helpful and I don't see then sitting down or drinking tea. Strung out line of skips but they can't help that. They do a good job IMO
