Went with some friends and family to the ABBA tribute in October 2017 - for £7.95 we weren't expecting much ... but we were pleasantly surprised!
It was the best show! A great night out listening and dancing to fabulous singers! We wont miss 6th October 2018!

Well worth a visit on your stay in Eastbourne. We booked tickets online for the Northern soul tribute and weren't disappointed.

Tickets only 7.95 each for balcony. Would of preferred the seats lower ground but said there were none available.

Great night, great atmosphere and great band withe the fireworks finale the icing on the cake.

Would defo recommend.

Have been to a few of the tribute nights here and it’s great as you can get up and dance and sing along....also brilliant Christmas Day when usually a silver band is playing Christmas songs...people with their Christmas hats on...and some dogs as well ...and Boxing Day there is dancing and mulled wine..great fun. Various levels with a bar as well

This place is located on the promenade so takes centre stage. Built in around the 1930,s it has retained its features. Hired out for private events as well as being an entertainment venue for the town. It is a lovely feature and well worth a visit.

Note to self: Don't book tickets for the airshow behind the bandstand as it gets in the way of watching the show.

The bandstand is situated on the seafront with seating on the same level as the stand as well as a higher platform of seating for when it is really busy.
I went to see the Sevenoaks Band which was visiting in August. I believe many bands from around the country do a stint there. The music was a mix of classical to the Rolling Stone with the finale being the 1812 overture and fireworks displayed from the beach. A really nice evening.
At weekends they have tribute acts and you can dance there. Lucky residents of Eastbourne, wish we had this in my home town.

It is quite and old fashioned but it is lovely on the beach and seeing the unusual shows that are put on there

If you’ve never been to a tribute night at the bandstand, you should go! Few things are as much fun for everyone, of any age, the atmosphere is great and all the bands deliver a great show. The same goes for the 1812 nights - more old school but still a great night out.

Lovely venue on the seafront, we've seen a large variety of acts perform here from classical music concerts, live tribute acts and DJs for kids parties in the summer evenings. Tickets are excellent value.

Music is usually pretty good, the staff are friendly and helpful, the bar is reasonably priced. There's often a big queue for the bar, so be prepared to wait! Some of the seating is under cover for when the weather is typically British. I would suggest arriving early for good seats as seating is unallocated.

The building itself is looking a little tatty at the moment, however funds are being raised to refurbish it currently.
