In comparison with London zsl it's slightly smaller and less animals. But this zoo has really nice animal human connection vibe . Their animals are much closer and feels like you connect more.
This park has amazing playground for kids and free carousels. Completed with nice touch like free carpark 👌 if it wouldn't so far from my place where i live. I would definitely choose this zoo over london zsl

It was our third visit to Drusilla’s and, again, it didn’t disappoint. So much to do and even with part of the park closed to build a new area, our two young children were entertained all day. The park was clean and the food was good too. We thought the staff were great, especially the person overseeing the large inflatable slide. Our children became a bit nervous halfway up and he made sure everything was safe for them to continue, and then helped/encouraged them to the top, and then back down the slide. I was really impressed by the way he handled this and it really made a difference to our day. Thank you! We’ll definitely be back again soon.

Have loved drusillas since I was a child. Now have my own 4 year old and for the last 2 years have been annual members. Very reasonable membership prices in comparison to others! Worth driving the hour to get here! Always a great day out.

Booked tickets online for 6 of us to go. The morning of my daughter tested positive for COVID so we decided best not to go. The website says tickets are non refundable and non transferable but if you email them they will move the date of your tickets .

Drusillas is ideal for primary school age children, and the zoo-lympics challenges and stamps keep them engaged all the way round. The zoo follows a one way system and when you reach the end, you come to a big outdoor play area, indoor soft play, wet play area and places to buy food. You can continue following the trail to a picnic area with paid activities and gifts shops. Finally you reach the train, the maze and a handful of small rides.

Every year they have new features and things that have been repainted and/ or improved - its good to see that they are continually investing in the park. Not sure if it is new, but we went in the 'Spark' sensory area this time... its a good feature but cost £2 per person (when other Zoos like Colchester include it in the price).

Overall its a fab day out, and will keep you occupied for between 2-4 hours. The prices have gone up, so I'd recommend buying tickets in advance to save a bit of money.

A great day out for younger children, small zoo and small rides. Sadly the Hello Kitty area has now gone, which was a real shame to our little boy, although the little £1 rides were all free, so he enjoyed those around the park.
Book in advance online, save £7 per ticket compared to on the gate prices.

Loved it! Fabulous place for children....and big kids. Awesome sloth experience...to feed mum and her baby was just amazing. Annie and Aaron were great keepers...the best briefing ever and fascinating facts about the sloths. Learned loads and lovely to see the animals treated with such respect.

We love Drusillas. The animals are well cared for with really passionate handlers. The play area is great and the little rides at the end are an added bonus. It is pricey but a great day out if you make the most of all the attractions. It can get very busy at peak times, which is something to consider.

Great day out for the family, especially young kids. Lots of animals roaming around their areas, which are quite spacious, didn't see any enclosures that force the animals in a small space nor force them to go close to visitors. Lots of activities for kids, soft play area, rides to go on, and a water park area. Great value and you could easily spend all day there. Would recommend bringing your own picnic as food choice was scarce when we went, main restaurant wasn't open, as well as expensive from looking at the menu.

Lovely to see such a variety of small animals (apart from the camels!).
Fantastic to be able to touch a snake, a beardie, a rat (❤) and chinchilla.
Just a bit wincy about the vocals on the animal song display.

I know the upkeep must be huge, but shame about the cost of entry.
