The whole process took too long but I am pleased that after 10 days that my washing machine has been fixed. It was quite stressful not knowing if a repair would fix the problem or whether I needed to buy a new machine. Thankfully not!

Delivery and installation done on day arranged and without fuss however washing machine and tumble dryer connect to the Internet and I was told the driver doesn't do that. We then spent 3 days trying to work out how to connect to the Internet. I would happily have paid an extra installation charge if someone could have done this for me. Think you are missing a trick there DD domestics.

Ordering was quick and easy on-line. Phone call to book delivery came within couple of days. Delivery men were friendly and helpful. It's nice to know that people are still friendly when delivering purchases, delivery to room as required, set up quick and easy, packaging not left at house, old unit taken away.

Within one hour of ordering, using PayPal for payment, I received a phone call from the store checking why I had ordered 2 electric fires that were the same! I had only paid for one but I was impressed that DB Domestics were on the case so quickly and the error (cause unknown) was quickly resolved
My Dimplex Glencoe Optiflame 3D fire (which is excellent, by the way) arrived by APC within 24 hours from ordering, in brand new condition and in full working order
In addition, the store had a large range of Dimplex electric fires to chose from, stating clearly on their website which ones were in stock. As DB Domestics is an approved Dimplex Centre, the warranty on my item is for 3 years once registered - bonus!
The fire was £10 cheaper to purchase than many of the on-line retailers who don't actually hold any stock themselves

I have used D.B DOMESTICS many times before for new kitchen appliances and for repairs and have been totally satisfied. This time I bought a new Bosch dishwasher. The men came to install it and set a programme that needed to be run. I was told that all was fitted and to not open door until programme finished. It completed so I opened the door and pulled the top basket out. It would not come apart from a third of the way out. I tried again and realised that it was stuck and couldn't even be lifted out. I called the shop and they said the men would call back on Monday. (This was Friday). One man came in and tried to do it and couldn't. Eventually with a more forse he was able to get it out and said it was getting caught somewhere. He did it and it has improved. But when saying to the installer I would have appreciated before the programme was started a look in the machine as I had only seen it on the internet and he said that they have to much to do and there wasn'the time to demonstrate. I didn't want a demonstration but just a quick run through which then perhaps would have shown up the problem. I did mention that they had to come back again which took up more time and may not have been necessary if they had spent 5 minutes with me when it was installed. There was no comment. So was slightly disapointed.
