The operative arrived at 15:55 so we started the Pump-out operation in low light and finished at 16:35, in the dark, by the light of my portable flood light. This was most unsatisfactory and somewhat unsafe. The pump did not seem to have the suction power of other of your vehicles that we have employed before so the operation took longer than usual.My proposal to pump out the rainwater tank also was abandoned for safety reasons. That will have to wait until the next time. All things considered it was a frustrating experience.

They are a friendly group of people. The clearing out was done with care for the garden as the cesspit is across the lawn. Every care was taken to move the plant pots that I forgot to move first.

Biffa failed to empty our sceptic tank for some months, citing lack of drivers. My neighbour called up CountyClean to do the job. They came within four days after a telephone call. Job done efficiently without fuss. I note that CountyClean is based at Eastbourne, in my county. I wonder if the cost would be reduced on a regular contract. Currently costs 7% more.

County Clean sent a tanker to pump out my tank at short notice. Their team did a first-rate job, operating from my neighbour's drive as mine was too narrow, and amending their office's paperwork, which had overstated the amount I'd said I wanted removed. County Clean's charges seem to me reasonable.
