I've been to the Congress theatre lots of times and always enjoy myself watching my daughter in concert, the staff are always nice and the building is awesome,parking is a nightmare as you could imagine, but a nice place to visit in a nice town

Went here to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show and have seen this many times with very different productions - this was West End prices with a very mediocre production. Riff Raff was good but others were not cast very well in my opinion.
As the prices were high the upstairs was half empty giving very little atmosphere to everyone’s entertainment.
We entered via the building on the right of the theatre - to me this looked like the building site office as was all concrete bare walls and is obviously still unfinished ! This just takes you up in an elevator to the theatre - why is this here?? When will it be finished? Many were asking this also.
The theatre top floor gents have more urinals but they look unfinished with bits of mastic on them and unfinished masticing in places - poor workmanship here and the signs in the doors which were tacky as were paper and very unprofessional - why not finish a building before you open??

Great place to watch a show and cannot fault the performances here. But..... when u are trying to enjoy the show and you have bored people a few seats from you talking the whole way through it ruins the experience. The ushers are there to stop this I thought?

Lovely visit to see Thank Abba for the Music to the newly furbished theatre. There is a open, modern, vibrant feel as soon as you walk in. The lighting throughout was good, the staff were nice and welcoming, (I bought a small lemonade for £1.60). The seating was comfortable and seemed somewhat wider. It was clearly signed for toilets, exits etc.<br><br>The sound was great, but the only problem I encountered was the spot lighting during the show was very much in our eyes. A little off putting for my sensitive eyes, however a great night overall!<br>I will be back again next month to see another show!

Excellent theatre with comfortable seating and good leg room. Saw rocky horror pixture show and will definitely be going back for more shows. Biggest draw back Is finding a parking space.

My wife and I went to see the Rocky horror show last night and we thoroughly enjoyed the show. We are regulars at the Congress and must say how impressed we are with the refurbishment.
