Brilliant environment to learn martial arts especially for our young daughter (4 years old). Their family friendly sessions are a great entry class for all. The teachers are all brilliant with our daughter who was very shy and unsure at the start, now she can’t wait to go. They remember all the kids names from day 1 and make the sessions fun and inclusive for everyone.

So I’ve been training here for 4 weeks . And my late I was a bit concerned about what this would be like. In honesty the team have been amazing - welcoming , helpful and made me feel comfortable . Don’t get me wrong they haven’t gone easy on me which is good - I feel challenged but in a positive way. Long may it continue.

The lessons at canton are the right mix of discipline, fun and learning. I came to sign up one but ended up signing up two of my children and joined myself now also.

Both the instructors and students are very welcoming from day one. You feel safe and looked after. Allowed to train and learn at your own pace and abilities which really helps in the beginning of this amazing journey.<br>Such a family feel, smiling when you enter and smiling as you leave. I enrolled my 5 children aged 5-12 years into Canton recently, and the children are all really enjoying their sessions. My boys (9-12) are doing kick boxing and my girls (5 & 7) are attending little samurai's. The staff are absolutely brilliant and we get lots of great feedback.

We have a 10 yr old girl who signed up for kick boxing two weeks ago. She has made new friends, helping to get her fit and the staff are amazing. Come down and see how great it is. Cant recommend highly enough.

My 7yr grandson loves this Martial arts club. He has learned so much and is improving all the time. All of the Sensei are excellent teachers, and show great patience with the young ones. There is constant feedback and encouragement both at classes and from online support. Highly recommend this club.

Great club!<br>The coaches are amazing.<br>I like that there are young coaches from the junior class, they're really helpful with the youngest.<br>My child is gaining new skills. Learning self defense and how to focus. Building self confidence and I see it even outside the class. It's 💯 times better than staying in front of the screen.<br>The gradings are my son's favourite part.

Absolutely astonished by how well my son is getting on in the junior karate jutsu class Hastings, and he is loving it! The instructors have done an exceptional job in keeping him engaged, and have been so supportive, tailoring to his needs quickly and effectively. I can honestly say I have never seen him this enthusiastic, and wanting to go back and train as much as he can. Especially as he has been so apprehensive about other groups and martial arts as a whole. I am so impressed with how organised Canton have been, and the wealth of information they have provided across numerous platforms and formats. I highly recommend, and cannot praise Luca, Levi, Philly, Kirsty, Tiff and Jake enough. Thanks guys!

There's so many kind and welcoming people here. I made great friends! The teachers are very experienced and helpful. You can learn a lot here. This place has really set the bar high for martial arts training clubs.

My 9 and 6 year old sins have been coming for 2 months now and they absolutely love it. All the staff and teachers are absolutely brilliant and made us all so welcome. Thank you so much. Special mention to sensei amanda, who is superb with all the kids of all abilities, and also to katana on reception who is always so happy and friendly!

We absolutely love canton martial arts. My 11-year-old, Son, started at Canton Martial Arts, karate a few months ago. He is fully enjoying it, staff are great. The sessions are well organized and the skills gained have been great for his personal development. Fully recommend it to anyone wishing to get their kids out to do something fun and physical.

Iv been training bjj with the guys at Canton for over 6 months now and have enjoyed every lesson.<br><br>When I first started I had zero history of martial arts or combat sports of any kind so this was a big step out of my comfort zone.<br><br>The coach's have been fantastic and made the journey fun, and encouraging at every step. Special shout out goes to Richard, Luca and Ryan for this.<br><br>The other members of the group have been fantastic to meet and roll with. All looking to help one and other level up our bjj game.<br><br>Not once did I feel like anyone wanted to hurt me or go over the top when rolling. Which is exactly what I wanted to experience. I'm here to learn a skill, not got battered every week and Canton was fantastic for this.<br><br>I would HIGHLY recommend anyone who is looking to learn bjj in a fun environment to give Canton martial arts a go.<br><br>James

My daughter has absolutely flourished since joining Canton in February this year. We were hoping for her to learn discipline and patience originally, but she has also made wonderful friends, gained amazing role models and has honed many other skills - all whilst staying fit & healthy and having lots of fun. She absolutely loves Karate (and her Sensais, Amanda & Philly) and has really become serious about her training. She is proud of herself and her achievements & has become much more confident, which is wonderful to see.<br>Everyone at the club has been warm and welcoming and we are proud to be part of the Canton martial arts family. Joining was the best decision we have made for our daughter and my husband is very keen to start his own martial arts journey in January! We will forever recommend this wonderful club.

So this review is of the group we go to, in Ashford, but it is a part of this Eastbourne-based organization. We go to the dojo in Kingsnorth school where the sensei is normally Lisa, with Stefan.<br>At the 4 week or so mark, we received an email asking us to consider leaving a review, and I'm very happy to do so.<br>The first trial lesson was interesting, with my son refusing to engage for most of it. That's on him though, as he's only 4 so he does sometimes behave like that at swimming as well. However, towards the end of the session, it was evident to Lisa that he was sort of keeping an eye on things, and so she was able to coax him towards doing some of the exercises. I'm so glad she offered us another trial, as that could have been the end of his karate journey. There's no way we could sign him up on the basis of that trial!<br>The second week, he was like a kid possessed. I just sat there on the bench provided for us parents, with a big grin on my face, watching him learn blocks, run up and down the hall, and he was thoroughly enjoying himself. On the strength of that, we were lucky enough to get a 4 week package to see how he does and he is now signed up for the full membership.<br>I don't want to jinx it, he's a stubborn kid and if he starts to not enjoy it, we might have to coax him through, but getting him there early, allowing him to chat with the instructors and warm up, is working really well at the moment. So much so, my wife is so engaged through the lessons, she wants to have a go as well!<br>I really like what I see at these classes. I don't know how long my son will stick at it, but for the moment, it's having what I firmly believe is a positive effect on him.<br>I'm happy to recommend this martial arts group on our limited experience so far.
