We visited recently for dinner. The restaurant is in an excellent location, and we enjoyed our balcony seating overlooking the sea.<br><br>Service was very slow, it took 30 minutes for our drinks order to be taken when the restaurant was around 60% full. This was rectified at the end of the night, without prompt, when a small amount was taken off of the bill. If we hadn't had very slow service to start, and between starters and main, I would have given Bistrot Pierre, Eastbourne five stars. I should say that are server was extremely friendly and apologetic.<br><br>The food was delicious. We really enjoyed the Roasted Chorizos in Honey small dish starter. I had Roast Pork Belly for my main, which was very tasty, and my partner's Chicken Printanier was absolutely delicious (I'll be having this next time!). Cocktails (c. £8) and a pint of beer/cider (c. £5) were reasonably priced too, which is nice to see when dining out.<br><br>There is reasonably good on-street parking nearby. It is free after 6pm, and you can pay direct at pay and display or with the RingGo app.

Choose Bistrot Pierre just for drinks with a view! Do not forget to book a table in advance, if you want to enjoy the sea view 😉<br>I wouldn't recommend the food and the staff were not extremely friendly!

We booked a table for our anniversary and Eastbourne Airbourne today. It was one of the best days I can remember for ages. The staff treated us so well nothing was too<br>much trouble for them and they were so busy. Must mention the food as it was absolutely terrific too! Please go and try it we thoroughly recommend it!

Lovely place to chill for a coffee and also a beautiful dinner with a lovely view. Special mention to Sergio who looked after us on both occasions and was brilliant with my niece.

Food was exquisite for myself that is a vegan and my friend who is a Pescatarian, staff were friendly and superb! I'd love it more if there were more vegan options, doesn't have to be a lot but I think I only saw 2 for the mains...perhaps a vegan-friendly brioche bun as I really wanted to have the burger (without the cheese). I was told it was very delicious :) but overall a fantastic experience for the end of the day.

First time visiting this restaurant last Saturday with my wife and four friends. Three of us had Calamari as a starter which we promptly sent back as it was over cooked and rubbery. The replacements came and unfortunately were not much better than the first ones but by this time the other members of our group were nearly finished with their starters so we didn’t bother to send them back again. If you can’t cook Calamari properly then perhaps you shouldn’t put it on the menu.<br>Two of us had Beouf Bourguignon for the main course which was delicious but an extremely small portion, more like a child’s portion to be honest, only three pieces of meat, a single carrot cut in half and a small spoonful of mash potato in each dish and for the price we felt a bit cheated. All in all a very average experience and probably won’t be in a hurry to go back, which is a shame as the staff were lovely as was the setting.

All about the views.<br>Didn't want a main meal so decided to order something to nibble on while we had a drink.<br>Unfortunately as expected from a chain establishment that was a mistake.<br>The Chorizo & the croquettes arrived first which were OK ish.<br>Mushrooms were cooked to an inch of their life.<br>My flip flops would of been easier to eat.<br>Broccoli was a limp as Alan Carrs wrists.<br>The fries were like when have a Takeaway the night before and you left em coz you were too drunk to eat them.<br>Yes that's rite it was all served cold.<br>Does this place not have hot lamps to keep the food at least warmish.<br>The dishes were replaced but came back about as warm as my beer.<br>It was a hot day,might of been better leaving it on the table to warm up.<br>Having said all that, the staff were lovely and hard working even if some of them don't know what table has ordered what.<br>Have a great summer.

The view is terrific, food is decent, prices good, service pretty good. The view of the water and the South Downs is the main attraction, but the rest is good too. Well worth it.

We love going here, you couldn't ask for better views being on the beach and beautiful walks either way.<br><br>Staff are very friendly and always checking if you are ok.<br><br>Food is a little expensive but is nice.<br><br>Dogs are also welcome!<br><br>My only gripe is the very limited drinks menu, I wanted either a Desperados or Corrona but don't do these so wanted there only stella cider but non in stock. No big brands of beer on tap so ended up with a random beer which want great then a wine 🤦🏽

It's a bit hit and miss, sometimes it's good other times not, I don't recommend ordering steak here as when I ordered it was very tough and was definitely not 8oz. However the beef bourguinon was delicious .

Had a very good meal here on Monday night. The place was busy, but the service was fast, and the waiting staff friendly and efficient. The venue is in a great spot, with sea views. Highly recommended.
