The staff was lovely and made the effort to make us comfy and well taken care of.<br>We had mocktails, which were OK.<br>The starters were fabulous, which really had our expectations for the main high but the crab meat linguini was a bit bland.

你能想象这是英国冬天海边的餐厅吗？<br><br>碧海蓝天，美得我感觉不像在英国了，像洛杉矶，像澳洲⋯<br><br>远眺能看见白崖屹立于海边。<br><br>这间餐厅可以用餐，Brunch、正餐，喝下午茶，没有预定Walk in 建议饭点早点去，餐厅生意蛮好的，人多的时候需要排队，景观位置可能需要提前预定。<br><br>太阳晒进餐厅，暖洋洋的，外面的碧蓝色的大海，就为这个景，我都愿意下次再来。<br><br>夏天落地的玻璃窗可以打开，露台有一排位置暖和的时候可以坐外面，侧面还有一个外摆区域，也能看海，这个季节风大，不过这个天气也有老外在外面喝东西。<br><br>餐食整体来讲还不错，如果不想用餐就去喝下午茶咖啡☕️或者小酌一杯。

We had high hope for the restaurant. We booked for date night and had been walking past and stopped for drinks in the afternoon. The food we saw looked good and smelt amazing.<br>When we arrived for dinner it wasnt overly busy but it took over 20mins to order food, our first choices weren't available at 6.30 and when the food arrived it was luke warm and what was supposed to be honey glazed pork was more like honey glazed mustard. I could not taste the pork for the coarse grain mustard spread all over it, the dauphinoise potatoes only tasted of Herb de Provence, could not taste anything else. We may have just been unlucky this time, so will go back again and see.

Pete's café had an amazing view, that's about it...3pm Thurs arvo, they had one slice of coffee cake left...weak cake game so won't be returning.<br>Don't be offering dayold pastries too, when it comes to cake....man don't play games... we didn't stay after finding out.

Treated ourselves to afternoon tea which was beautifully presented and served. Good quality sandwiches and cakes. Large portion - glad we did not have any lunch! Quite busy for a chilly Thursday afternoon. We will certainly return for lunch or breakfast.

Bistrot Pierre in Eastbourne is a bit of a mixed bag. The food is nothing to write home about – pretty average and definitely overpriced. But hey, credit where it's due – the service is top-notch. The matre'd really pulled some strings to squeeze our gang of five in on a busy Saturday afternoon, even though we hadn't made a booking. Plus, you can't argue with the location. Situated by the water, the view is pretty sweet, especially when the sun's out. So, if you're up for a tolerable meal with great service and a killer view, this spot might just hit the spot.
