The T-bone steak of my dreams!<br><br>Had a meal here a few weeks ago. Sat outside and chomped away at a fine T-bone steak.<br>The service was excellent from this family run establishment which to my knowledge has been open since l was little ( I'm now in my forties) and it is well known as a lovely place to eat.<br>For a special meal on a sunny day, this fits the bill nicely.

Had a fun time when I visited with my parents at the weekend. The staff are so friendly and chatty and make you feel at home. Food was tasty and good portion sizes. There was a slight mix up when we asked for more pitta bread for the mixed dips to start but other than that it was great food and service. It was quite a party atmosphere too and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Would recommend if you are in Eastbourne and want traditional Greek food!

I took my wife and son to this restaurant, and what a fantastic time we had. A family run restaurant that not only provides wonderful food but every one of the staff makes you feel at home from the moment you enter. It was my wife’s birthday and it was rounded off nicely by this fabulous choice. Next time I’m in Eastbourne I know where I will be eating.

If you are looking for somewhere to eat in eastbourne, then this is the place, a family run Greek restaurant, good food reasonably priced, staff are friendly and nothing is to much trouble, we had a 4 night stay in eastbourne and we chose to eat in this restaurant twice, we will definitely go back when we visit again, thankyou Helen you run a great restaurant.

Overall not bad, but nothing extraordinary.<br>We had lunch there, chicken souvlaki (good) with rice (too soft). Starters were hummus with pita (for £4.5 it is not a good deal at all) and lemonde also was not worth to try.<br>Service charge (10%) was added to the bill automatically (which is fine) but we were overcharged with extra £5 accidentally. When I complained about this it was corrected but still... mixed feelings left behind.<br>We have found better greek restaurants nearby (sit in and take away too).

If you are looking for a place where to eat some real Greek food, Athens is your place!! Food is simply delicious and the staff is super friendly and kind. This is a family led restaurant and they really made us feel at home!

Update 4th June 2021<br><br>This is our second visit to Eastbourne in the last 9 months and we were always going to visit Athens Greek restaurant again and we were not disappointed. The food was as lovely as before with very generous portions. This along with the lovely family staff and being made to feel welcome we will always come back to eat here.
