I wouldn't have noticed the place, but was glad to have experienced it. Food and atmosphere was very positive. Fresh food with a great wine selection. They also have a lovely outside space available.

They managed to squeeze us in despite it being fully booked and not having a reservation. The manageress was excellent, passionate about the food and drink and offering suggestions and recommendations. The food was first class and like a number of people have also commented, the best outside of Italy. Would definitely recommend.

Came last night (saturday 10th) with my husband. We booked for 8 but arrived early at 7.30 and they seated us straight away. Wine list is good and reasonably priced although we had just left a wine bar so anything would have been in comparison. We both ordered pizzas and they were the best we had had outside of Rome/Italy. Would have loved to have tried the Tiramisu but sadly we had no room for desert.
The restaurant is really lovely and service was very good with very friendly waitress's and waiters. Had a lovely evening and definately recommend if you want a change from Eastbournes many chain Italians!

Party of 6 for evening out . Simply a lovely experience , excellent food , excellent service ( I understand its a family run place ) . We all really liked it and they deserve to be top Eastbourne restaurant.

We had this restaurant recommed to us. So glad we went there the best pizza we have every had. This is a family run restaurant and so good to be with the owners who could help us with the choice of pizza and wine. A very in expensive meal and fantastic value.

What a delight to find an Italian restaurant with a real pizza oven that makes its own slow raised dough meaning I can eat it without problems. We struggled to finish them as they were rather large and enjoyed our chat with waiting staff. Will return

This was our first visit but certainly won't be our last.A lovely friendly family run restaurant.A very warm welcome ,lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious.
The Arrancini was amazing,my pizza was enormous but also delicious and the Baba Limoncello Sponge was just too yummy for words!We all had a wonderful evening.

We can only agree with the reviews below. A very nice restaurant that really doesn't disappoint. A lovely traditional Italian family restaurant with great service, excellent menu and very good food. Word of warning though, it's no longer situated where it's shown on the TripAdvisor map. It moved location (not far) in May this year and the map has not been updated!!

We had the mixed meat and cheese platter for starters was huge and delicious. To be honest I didn't think we would be able to eat our main course so we delayed it for a while (no problem). When it did arrive it was probably the best mixed seafood spaghetti I've had in this country. The décor, and the food are a bit "rustic" so don't expect linen tablecloths and napkins, but I loved it. Good value too.

What a find! We stumbled across this when visiting Eastbourne and were thrilled! Lovely family cuisine, authentic Italian food, and wine to die for. We just wish we lived nearer so we could visit again. Your pizza chef rocks :)

As always, excellent food, excellent service (our first time at the new premises in Bolton Road). Our expectations were high! My daughter, grandson and I received a really warm welcome and enjoyed a perfect early evening meal. Would highly recommend Anema e core! We look forward to our next visit to Eastbourne and eating at this outstanding restaurant!
