Booked a family room, everything was as described, sufficient linen, towels, hangers, comfortable beds, working TV etc - we would have rated it 5 stars but for a very minor grumble - the toilet cistern was very slow to refill, in a family room with several people needing the facilities at the same time, this can cause minor problems (suspect an adaptor to conserve water may have been installed. Otherwise excellent service, very clean and cosy and would book again

Breakfast was good value and the family room was big but the mattress was too soft and springy. One night was OK.

Goed hotel, wel wat verouderd. Douches met een lekkere straal!
Mooie locatie vlak bij de pier.

Sehr abgewohntes, liebloses Hotel. Wer hier nicht schlafen muss, sollte es auch nicht tun. Wer doch keine andere Wahl hat, wird es auch überleben.

Een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Direct gelegen aan de Pier. Enig nadeel is het parkeren

A weekend trip away , Nice place if not a little dated , Room was ok clean and tidy , But could tell it was getting to the end of its service life .
Bathroom small but ok shower ok but need to be aware not every one is size zero to fit in the shower doors .
Tea and coffe makeing very good .

My family stayed at the Afton on the 28th September.for one night. We booked 2 rooms months before our stay for £114. The Hotel is opposite the pier and just off the sea front. When we arrived we were offered a parking permit for our stay for just £1 which allows you to park in the street on designated bays. We managed to park on the sea front near the hotel. The staff are very polite and helpful The rooms were comfortable with plenty of storage space. The breakfast in the morning cost £7 and is well worth it, after a good all English I asked for toast and it was serves in minutes. I would definitely stay here again.
