With a hot weekend forecast many of us will be visiting local Garden Centres

Hot weekend forecast so I am going to risk planting up my window boxes and bringing my hanging baskets permanently outside.  I have been bringing them on in the Green House and even though I say it myself they look fab!
So for the window box project I require some more compost so popped into Brondesbury Garden Centre in Cardigan. Rebecca and Neal are a real delight, so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, so you can imagine apart from the compost I am tempted with other little extras.  Well I did need some Rosemary and the Tarragon looked so healthy and then of course Rebecca showed me the Mimosa – heavenly! ……. And of course I needed a pot for the Mimosa!  Do you think hubby will notice another pot amongst all the others?
The plants that Rebecca nurtures at Brondesbury Garden centre are mostly grown locally here in West Wales by specialist growers and the quality is stunning.  Brondesbury does not have a vast stock but they do specialise in specimen plants such as the wonderful Mimosa that I have just bought together with a superb collection of Alpine plants and just in a great variety of bedding plants.  Their herbs are excellent and is the only place I will buy my herb plants.  Rebecca tempted me to a Oregano but not this time but it did smell divine.
This small but perfectly formed garden centre is definitely worth a visit and is open now 7 days a week.  Mon-Fri from 8.30-5pm Saturday from 8.30-4pm and Sundays from 10am - 2pm
