After a couple of very busy weeks I treated myself to a massage at Tranquil Moments.
However this was not just any massage. I have always known about the benefits of the sea on the skin and always notice my skin looks healthier during the summer months when I have the opportunity of dropping down to the beach at Newport (pembs) or across to Poppit Sands for a swim.
So back to the massage. Tina at Tranquil Moments now stocks AHAVA a wonderful product range from the Dead Sea Laboratories. The treatment started with a body brush – very stimulating and you can really feel it helping the circulation – mine is particularly sluggish!. Next a salt rub. I really felt that I was being smoothed out!! but it felt really invigorating. Next, (and I am glad I was not being photographed) I was covered in Dead Sea Mud and then wrapped in silver foil – I did feel a bit like a roast turkey but it was very relaxing. Tina then gave me a head massage and then left me for 20 minutes to relax and allow the mud to do its thing. All very indulgent - but so worth it! Whoever has 20 minutes just to do nothing? It was bliss. After the relaxing 20 minutes I then showered and was then treated to more Dead Sea lotions and potions from the AHAVA range. I have to say my skin felt simply divine and has stayed that way ever since. I would recommend this treatment or similar to everyone. It is good to occasionally take time out in our busy lives and do something that completely relaxes and chills the body and mind.
