Catrin Davies of Pink Orchid has had real frustrations in moving to her new premises. Always a problem when a building is listed but Cadw appear to have delayed things considerably. First Catrin was due to move into her new much larger premises in November last year and then the date was set for 6th April and in fact stated that date in a recent door drop that went out to 25,000 homes! But finally, yes really, Catrin is definitely moving to her new premises on Pendre in Cardigan on 1st June 2010. Throughout all these frustrating delays Catrin has remained her normal optimistic smiley self – a real example to us all and still has managed to create beautiful bouquets of flowers.
I popped in to her shop currently in Priory Street last Friday, the flower scent was heavenly! I had a sneak preview of some of the new stock she will be offering. My lips are sealed but I am sure everyone will love her new products. Gifts for all ages and budgets and many themed around the garden and indoor plants. I for one cannot wait.
So don’t forget, Catrin and Pink Orchid will be moving to Pendre on 1st June 2010!!
