Yesterday was my six weekly visit to the hairdressers. This is my "me" time and what better place to go than Rolands at the top of the High Street in Cardigan. It has a great atmosphere full of fun and chat. You get offered tea and coffee too. I have been going there since I moved to West Wales in 2004. It is such a friendly salon with great stylists and colourists. Nikki Evans has been looking after my hair from the very start when I was blonde with longish hair. It is now very short and red with extra copper and dark highlights or should it be lowlights? Not sure... Nikki would know. This is the time to think Christmas as Rolands is getting very booked up, so don't delay book your Christmas Hair appointment now. And just to let you in to a little secret - it is Rolands 25th Anniversary this December (25 years in this current salon) so I am sure Steff and Roland will be celebrating with their staff and clients so watch this space!! I will ask Steff and her team of experts to write some hints and tips on how to look after your hair during the winter, Do register as a member and you can add comments too! Roland's have donated a gift voucher for thebestof Cardigan and Teifi Valley's next business networking meeting on 18th November so book the date into your diary.
My next blog will be about gearing up for Christmas, with concerts, the ideal Christmas gifts, places to eat, pampering yourself such as facials and a new look make up. In fact why not book now at Tranquil Moments for advice on this season's look. Tina has a well known make up artist from Jane Iredale visiting the salon in College Row, Cardigan on 20th November. Contact Tranquil Moments to book an appointment.
Until the next time
