The Olympics have inspired the entire country to get sporty.
And now women in Cambridge are being offered the chance to try out sports that they might have always fancied, spotted at the Olympics, or even have done in the past and would quite like to take up again.
Run in a fun and informal atmosphere, there is a range of activities on offer at the events at the Madows Community Centre. It also has an element of market research, as popular sports sessions will see Cambridge Council looking at setting up regular sessions long term.
So if there is a sport you would like to be involved, in make sure you get involved this month. At just £2.00 for each session, some of the sports on offer include Football, Cricket, Badminton, Netball, Yoga, Basketball, Volleyball and Zumba - with a different taster session on offer each week.
Running until October 30th, the sessions will give you the opportunity to have fun, improve your fitness levels and learn new skills.
