Late night Christmas shopping in Cambridge

Christmas shopping can be a pain; you don't want to run the gauntlet of missing the deliveries for your online shop (a Christmas Eve drive to the nearest depot is never the best way to spend the day) and let's face it - the thought of a Saturday afternoon shopping in December, fighting through the crowds as the same Christmas album plays on a loop in every shop you visit sounds like your worst nightmare!

Luckily, for those of you who have left your Christmas shopping a little later than planned, late night shopping is, thankfully, back for another year for those who can't get out of work to grab some gifts at lunchtimes and can't face the retail nightmare of the weekends.

Shops in Cambridge City Centre will be opening until 9.00pm on Wednesdays between now and Christmas to give you a few extra hours of shopping time.

Large and independent stores alike will be extending their hours in Grand Arcade and Lion Yard will be open late, as will John Lewis and Marks & Spencer's, whilst The Grafton will remain open until 8.00pm

So there's no need to make unnecessary journeys to out of town retail parks, or worry about online shopping when you can find everything you need, at a time to suit you, right here in Cambridge.
