Give Blood In Cambridge and Save a Life!

For all the nice topics we discuss on this blog with and catalogue of things to see and do in this great city, it is good to also highlight the things that we can do for other people.

Giving blood is the life force of our hospitals; without it, so many more people would not be with us today. Why not do your bit and give blood in Cambridge next week?

Nurses will be taking blood by appointment on Monday 1st August from 08.00-16.30 at Addenbrookes Clinic, East Anglia Centre, Long Road, CB2 2PT. Please help and if you cannot make Monday, see where you can give at other centres around the country and we will report on this again when another day is booked.

You may be lucky enough to never have experienced the need for this in your life, but you could save a person's life next week and still be home in time for tea!
