Following on from my recent blog post on The Memory Walk taking place this Sunday, I have the perfect way to wind down after all that exercise and fundraising, and that is with Summer in The City 2011’s next stunning instalment!
This Sunday 4th September from 3-5pm, Jazz and Brass in The Parks, which is part of the project, brings to you the party horn sounds from Freddie and Friends New Orleans Jazz Band on Jesus Green, Cambridge.
As ever, the event is entirely free and all they ask is that you bring good times and that great Sunday feeling to sound off what I hope will be a great weekend for you all! Pack a picnic, or indeed a snack box if Roast Dinner is somewhere on the menu, and take in the fine sounds of this great band and electric atmosphere.
