After a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, here at thebestof Cambridge, we are hoping to start 2012 off with a collection of events and activities to rival last year's...

...and for those interested in the theatre and the arts this one is for you!

Bringing the true spirit of Christmas into 2012, Mumford Theatre present the Anglia Contemporary Theatre, bringing you Tony Harrison’s The Mystery Plays. This is Part One of his interpretation of The Nativity, brought to life through the expression of poetry, song and dance. The production was first performed to excited and enthralled audiences in the 70’s, and back in popular demand in the 80’s and so this is a fantastic treat to add to your theatre going repertoire.

Tickets are available from the Theatre’s box office for the showing on Friday 6th January and Saturday 7th January 2012 so don’t delay; get your weekend set for a very reasonable yet exciting treat for the eyes, ears and soul!

Visit Mumford Theatre for more information on location and booking.
