As festivals go, this is not your run of the mill line up, with not a glow stick in sight! Though this is not to say that it should bypass your social calendar!

Cambridge’s literary celebration, WordFest is back in the spring to enlighten minds and celebrate new and existing writers in a friendly, refreshing atmosphere.

The festival runs over the 15th, 16th and 17th of April at the Cambridge Union, Central Library and the ADC Theatre, and boasts amongst many others Dawn French, Simon Armitage, and Stefan Collini.

There will be laughs, learning and inspiration among the line up, with hot topics such as WikiLeaks and Palestine on the agenda (Dawn French, of course will be lightening the load!)

Box office opens on Friday the 4th March and tickets can be purchased online, telephone or in person from the ADC Theatre, Park Street, Cambridge, CB5 8AS.

Make a date in your diary for something a little different as the spring kicks in!
