Cambridge buses have become so dirty that passengers are missing their stops as they cannot see out of the windows!
Passengers in Cambridge claim they are repeatedly missing their stops due to filthy bus windows.
The buses, which are usually washed every night, have not been cleaned due to the freezing temperatures. When temperatures drop below -2c, the bus wash is automatically shut down by the frost protection system.
Although temperatures over the last few days have been higher, a chain in the washer broke, confounding the problem.
Stagecoach hope to be able to clean the buses over the next few days, although with a big freeze forecast, this may be an ongoing problem!
