Myself and partner went here for an afternoon tea. I'm a vegetarian and found the usual egg and cheese sandwiches a bit boring but to be fair, they were tasty. Maybe something more imaginative would be nice. The scones and cakes were lovely and we were given a box for the food we weren't able to eat. Irene, our waitress was wonderful. Very chatty and nothing was too much trouble for her. Irene also told us about events that are on at the hotel. We only live down the road from there and we were unaware of these things. We'll definitely go in for a coffee and sandwich when we can. Thank you, Irene 😊.

Stopped in for a business meeting, received free access to WiFi and great service from Irene who served us our coffee and biscuits. Very attentive.

Visited for a family party locally and this was the perfect base. Very welcoming staff, especially Irene who gave us all the information about local area and services. Very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her; she is definitely an asset to the hotel! Would definitely come back and stay again.

Had the most fabulous stay, we booked a few rooms. The hotel has great staff, tasty food, very clean and a very good location. Irene & Julie were especially helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Well done to all the team, Zoe in sales was great too.

Booked an afternoon tea for my mum and dads 65th wedding anniversary. Irene could not do enough for us. She really made a fuss of mum which made mum feel so special. The afternoon tea was amazing but too much for them but they were able to take the leftover cakes and cream tea home with them to have later. Yet again I have been really impressed with the service here, especially from Irene and the food was lovely.

We dropped in for lunch and we were treated really well, especially by Irene, she was very kind and really knowledgeable about the menu. Our food was really good quality and pleasantly serviced. Nothing was too much trouble.

2nd time we have been to this hotel for a event, 1st time was our friends wedding and tonight was an 80s night. The ladies all had fun and sang along to most of the songs.
