Considering the age of the place (indicated by the pink and peach bathrooms!) it really isn't too bad. The beds are massive and comfortable -- the doubles aren't even those fraudulent double-sheet-over-two-singles jobs. The bar is decent and the breakfast is actually really very good and with excellent black pudding. Minus points for bringing me american mustard when I requested mustard...

I go to the gym every day and staff are all so friendly.

Recently had my wedding breakfast and reception at Mecure and the staff were amazing. Katie B was our coordinator and helped with any queries we had, kept in contact with us regarding the venue.
Katie H and Ram were our coordinators on the actually day and they were amazing. The day ran so smoothly and they made sure everything ran as it should. I am dairy free and they made sure to get dairy free desert for myself. Couldn't have asked for better staff to run our day.

Really convenient and tranquil spot to meet for work meetings and catch ups.
Lots of space, good parking, modern facilities and the fabulous Irene who's always so cheerful 😊 attentive and welcoming in the bar area.

Great staff rooms dated .i would like too thank all the excellent kitchen staff on thier aproach over allergies .i have a severe allergy with eggs and the chefs are absolutly superb i carnt praise them enough if iv so i must say these chefs are order something with out realising they soon tell the bar staff i carnt have that .ie eggs in .so i must say i give all the chefs 100%for the time and safety they give too thier diners

Another very comfortable stay the room was clean and had everything we needed for 2 nights we had a drink at the bar and met the lovley irene this lady is a credit to the hotel and makes you feel so welcome

Having just returned from spending two nights here following sad family circumstances. Our room was very comfortable as was the rest of the hotel. All the staff we met were friendly but our special thanks goes to Irene. She was so helpful, kind and supportive going above and beyond to making sure we had everything we needed!! Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Peter & Ann

Even with a fan and windows open it was very hot in the bedroom. The staff also seemed to feel the heat and were out of sight most of the time we were there.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay, rooms are clean and perfect for a family to stay inn,and I’d especially like to thank the receptionist Sahil for being so helpful and accommodating throughout my visit. He was friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile whenever we needed assistance. His kindness and excellent service made my stay much more comfortable and enjoyable.
