Overnight stay The room, the breakfast and the spa No biscuits in the room and only 2 sachets of coffee each. It seems very wasteful to have a large block of soap for 1 night

Room was clean and spacious, staff was lovely. The beds are huge and comfy. Breakfast good, easy to get to. Attended a wedding stayed over rather than drive home a good decision as room was a good price

The hotel itself is beautiful, all the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and spacious with comfy beds, the spa is very relaxing the changing rooms were always kept tidy, the food was amazing I’d recommend the tandoori chicken burger, had duck as a evening meal witch was amazing (prefer crispy skin but didn’t effect quality) the drinks were all reasonably priced even the cocktails, would definitely recommend if your looking for a relaxing weekend away!!

Facilities are great so relaxing… Atmosphere is nice in and around hotel. Decor is cosy in rooms. Breakfast was tasty ,only down side we didn’t eat at the restaurant although before booking we verified if gluten free food was available and at booking got told yes but in the restaurant got told there’s only 2 meals gluten free.
Staff were nice especially Isabel she was very helpful.
Would recommend the massage the staff were very professional. Would stay here again. Lovely little shops around the hotel too.

We got married at the last drop village hotel in Bolton in aug 2021 and can not praise the event team enough, we had the most amazing wedding ever and every single member of staff here went above and beyond for us. The events team changed our venue room around 3 times for us during the day for the cermony, wedding breakfast and evening reception and it looked out of this world each time. They did everything we asked for and so much more making sure that everything looked and ran perfectly on the day. The wedding planner here Liz made all of the planning for the big day so much less stressful and was so calm, relaxed and reassuring that everything would be just as we wanted it to be and it definatley was! We would definatley recommend this venue and the team to make your wedding day dreams come true and we will look forward to visiting again next year for our anniversary! Thank you!

Stayed with extended family, reception and booking was efficient friendly and helpful, but cleanliness was an issue in rooms. I have had much better breakfasts. Spa area was nice, kids loved the pool, but no water provided ( perhaps even prior notice to bring an empty bottle to fill at the bar would have been useful) but if it’s going to be called a “spa” rather than a swimming pool, I would have expected drinking water facilities.

We absolutely loved our visit to The Last Drop Village. I had been before years ago but my husband had not, I was concerned I'd maybe talked it up too much but it certainly didn't disappoint. We stayed on a DBB rate. The food was delicious and all staff were polite and attentive. Only slight let down was the building works taking place next to the hotel as it interrupts the view slightly however it didn't impact on our stay. We can't wait to visit again!

We loved the location, the spa was excellent and it was one of the best weddings I have attended. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were helpful and friendly all weekend. The food was delicious and the beds were comfy

For the price paid and the quality of the food included on a special nhs deal it worked out good value. However there was nothing executive about the room apart from the bed it was so comfy. The decor and cleanliness needs improvement, the spa tired and too many people in it at the same time. Grounds beautiful and the staff lovely. Unfortunately I wouldn't stay again. The new housing estate right in front of the hydropool has ruined the view.

4 out of 5 This place is lovely the hotel rooms are just above average,
Breakfast catered for Gluten free.
Didn’t try evening meals can’t comment.
Spa and area had lovely pool and a separate area for adults which had heated pool. Aromatherapy room, steam room sauna, Sauna with Rocks, and salt room. The massage was included in out stay and I can say it was amazing.

More detailed information regarding our stay. The hotel room was slightly dated but had all the cons a good iron good tv a spacious bathroom with bath, Safe, Hanging space. Coffee and tea.

May I say we called them numerous times to no answer on the phones. I emailed but got a response two days later. I get a faster response to the spa ! Once I got our response from the hotel I emailed back asking if they provide (Gluten free options) they said they do they provide a Full gluten free breakfast.
They don’t really cater for gluten free for lunch (it was disgusting bread that you couldn’t swallow) or dinner they just take off things that contain everything off the plate and still charge you the same the sandwich was approximately £8 too
If you are looking for a gluten free meal here I wouldn’t bother, but the spa and massage and hotel make up for that. We found on trip advisor other local restaurants who were willing to assist us.

We are gluten free Not by choice.

Staff : Isabel stood out to us in the mornings very helpful and very polite. Thank you Isabel for helping us.

Still waiting for a response from hotel regarding my email I sent during my stay ! Which I sent 1/Sept/21

A lovely hotel complex with spa and excellent gym. The wedding we attended was well organised., The venue ideal for the celebration and the food was exceptional. We stayed in a standard double room which was comfortable. The walk in shower had a rain forest shower head which again was lovely.

Good Lots of amenities. Free parking. Peaceful night’s sleep. Travelling there. Was quite busy on minor roads. The room was fair, carpets a little worn.

Having just got back from a stay here I am overwhelmingly impressed. The hotel easily accommodated the four of us and nothing was too much trouble. The staff are lovely, the food is amazing , the gym is very well equipped but the true icing on the cake is the spa. What a gem of a find. We are now so relaxed and have already booked for next year. As NHS and keyworkers I can see this being at least a twice a year treat to relax and unwind. Thanks so much to everyone that works there for making our much needed break away such a fantastic success.

Arrived at a busy check in time, but receptionist dealt with this effectively & efficiently. Got to our room 2 floors up & it was a double rather than twin room as booked. This was sorted quickly & we were given a room on 1st floor. Room nice & clean. Pamper basket had been previously ordered but not in the room & we had to wait a further hour for this to arrive....only arrived due to chasing it up. Pamper basket had robes & should have had slippers...but had non. After speaking with reception again, we were given £10 voucher towards food or drink as an apology. Spa facilities were lovely. Evening meal was a slight disappointment...seemed like they were short staffed as we had to wait quite a while even though table was booked. Only seemed to be 2 members of staff taking the food orders and as we were in a room off to the side....felt like we were forgotten about. This comment was also made by a few other guests seated in the same area. Main course was lovely although waiter got the steaks mixed up...which by the time you have already had a couple of bites...is a bit difficult to then swap with the friend you are with. Dessert was another obstacle....waited and waited, after a good half hour, asked a waitress if she could check on it & she came back & said the kitchen hadn't been told we had finished our main & dessert would be another 10 mins. Cheesecake was lovely once it arrived. Comfy nights stay, room was very warm though, think they could do with having air con fitted or fans in the room. I would stay again, but feel like they need to address a couple of areas especially the restaurant side. Maybe have designated waiting staff serving there own tables & more of them able to take food orders, that way you may not get forgotten about quite so easily.

Wedding
I could write such a long review about how fantastic the day was thanks to the venue and the staff working there but I'll keep to the usual parts for future guests so you don't get bored of reading it. The date had been moved a couple of times due to covid, Last Drop were supportive throughout. We stayed the night before the wedding and had a wonderful meal in the restaurant, we were given a great welcome and settled into our rooms which were clean and new looking, anything we asked for was no trouble. The day itself was magical, the Penny Farthing Suite has it's own chapel for the ceremony, a bar that isn't shared and was well staffed. The wedding breakfast was cooked lovely which is difficult for so many people. The whole day and night was a wonderful atmosphere and very welcoming. If you are planning on booking your wedding I would not hesitate, the wedding co-ordinator Liz has been a great support to my sister and my brother in law during the process of having to rearrange several times, nothing was too much trouble from start to finish over a period of 2 years in the end. On the day I had a dress issue and she was over in minutes to help. All was sorted so no worries there. We didn't use the spa as we were too busy having a good time after so long in lock down but social distancing was still supported. It has been a few weeks since the wedding now and I find myself thinking still how perfect it was, this would not have been possible without such great service from the Last Drop and all staff who supported on Saturday 7th and Sunday the 8th August. Thank you all so much.
