beautful location tucked away, with surrounding countryside and walks. hotel grounds are spacious and well laid out with quaint village shops.
Spa facilities are excellent with swimiming pool, and various sauna and steam rooms with a indoor/outdoor thermal jacuzzi area.
rooms are okay with the usual facilities, although i think the executive rooms are nothing extra special, rooms are pricy in my opinion but facilities of the hotel is very good. enjoyed our 2nd stay from London.

Thank you so much to the staff at the Last Drop. You helped make my son's 21 birthday a huge success and a weekend to remember.

Special thank you to Leesa who co-ordinated this for me, Lindsay who facilitated the room bookings for all of my party, the Manager (tall guy) of the Harmony Suite and his team for looking after us so well at the party, the young guy in the Drop Inn on Sunday morning who couldn't do enough for us all and finally Mr McGee who ensures we receive a first class service every time. We truly feel like VIP's every time we visit.

A great place to stay, breakfast and evening meals are really good and all staff in the hotel and spa/gym very friendly and helpful. I am working in Bolton for the next 6-7 weeks and will make this my base for the duration of the project

We live in Edinburgh. It’s our second stay and we will be back as we love the layout and friendless of its staff. Lots of available staff that were always very friendly and helpful. The room lacked ventilation and we had to remove the heavy duvet from its cover and sleep under the cover

The staff in both the hotel and the Spa from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave are friendly and helpful. We were made to feel very welcome and will return. The spa was lovely and we enjoyed a fantastic massage. Thank you to all the staff at this fantastic hotel. If I could give a higher rating than 5, I would.

Enjoyable and good value. We enjoyed the spa. There was an extensive choice at breakfast and it was well prepared. There was nothing we did not like.

2 nights mid week stay, early August.
I’ll start with the positives… the Spa; clean, friendly staff, a lovely relaxing environment with fabulous treatments. My therapist was Leeanne, she was excellent, really listened to what I wanted. Our second evening meal was fabulous. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and keen to help. Our room was clean.
Bad points…
The ‘last drop pub’ best avoided, it was dark, dirty, the young stuff didn’t seem to have any knowledge of the drinks they were serving, I’m not sure there was actually any gin in the G&T.
The first night evening meal was ok.
Breakfast, we only ate one morning, didn’t want to ‘risk’ it a second day! I ordered scrambled egg on toast, with 2 sausages and sautéed mushrooms…. The ‘toast’ was soggy, the eggs had no flavour and were watery, I suspect powdered eggs not actual chickens eggs, no butter on the toast, the mushrooms weren’t sautéed, more like boiled in water and were disgusting, the sausages were raw in the middle! They’d clearly been thrown in a deep fat fryer, but not enough to cook them through. Husband scrambled egg on ‘floppy’ toast with grilled tomatoes was the same level of inedible disaster.
The room, whilst clean the room’s are looking really tired, we were booked into an executive suite, there was nothing executive about the room, it’s bland and white. There was 2 chocolates in a box and 2 bottles of water. We were on the ground floor of a 2 story complex, our upstairs neighbour sounded like he was jogging round the room with an elephant at 5am in the morning!
All in all would I stay there again, no.

We'd give the weddings and bookings team a 6 if we could! We got married in the Harmony Suite at the Last Drop Village with only a ten month lead time. The package contents and price were amazing for the time of year, catering included as part of the Grand Affair package which took an entire vendor off of our to-do list! The wedding team looked after everything, putting out our favours and decorations, helping us get to where we needed to be for each point, and generally made the whole process entirely stress free.

Even though the wedding part is done, we'll definitely be back to the Last Drop, as the views are stunning, the air is crisp and fresh even when it gets hot, and the hydrotherapy pool in the spa.. we didn't want to get out at all, and whilst too hot for me, my husband loved the Saunas.
We would definitely recommend the spa in the winter too, crisp freezing air combined with the heat of the hydrotherapy pool is so relaxing

The Courtyard bar, Drop Inn and Suite bar were staffed by the kindest people, who very kindly indulged my tipsy selfie-loving self!

The honeymoon suite was beautifully set up with red and pink rose petals scattered from the threshold, through the lounge to the bed, and towels folded into swans

Thankyou to all the team at the Last Drop Village Hotel and Spa for a wonderful weekend wedding, and a massive thankyou to Liz for answering every question we had right from the beginning, up to the big moment, and to Zoe and Tom for all your help on the day!

We booked this as a weekend break with family to attend a hen do locally but wanted somewhere for our toddler to be based and a pool.

Check in was quick and easy although we didn’t all arrive together which proved a little tricky with giving car reg in.

Although we had booked together and asked to be close by we where not in the same building although we where very close to each other. We where placed in a family block/room. Which was the only thing I can fault the hotel on. The family rooms are opposite the pub which with a young toddler to put to bed at 7pm wasn’t ideal with all the noise from outside we had to keep the windows closed even though it was hot. But luckily for us it rained the other nights so was much quieter. The bed position for the child’s bed isn’t ideal next to a radiator with a gap big enough to fall down but not get out of at the head end so would have required two sets of bed guards and the radiator turning off. (Not ideal if you visit in the winter). The room my parents was in was much better suited for a family to stay in so no idea why we where placed in our room.

Breakfast is great lots of selection from continental to full English. All the food is fresh and good quality. I would suggest going early as it gets very busy later into service especially at the weekend.

The pool and spa area is great, our toddler loved swimming each day and is nice and warm! They provide towels which is helpful as you don’t need to get them dry between swims! There is a double width lane for family’s to swim in plus two swimming lengths lanes. Then the adult only spa section is great with a nice selection of sauna and stream rooms (I think around 5 different ones) and a lovely hot spa infinity pool (shame about the views I’ve the car park) but would highly recommend making use of it. Never seemed to be very busy regardless of the time of day which was nice.

We would stay again but would consider asking for a different room.

We loved our time at the last drop Village Hotel, we had an evening meal and breakfast which were both perfect. The staff are very friendly, especially those on reception. However, my only criticism is naming a bedroom a ‘cottage room’ doesn’t detract from the fact that it’s a basic hotel room, I was quite disappointed with the room, and the fact that there was no remote control for the television, making it useless. Other than that we loved our time here.

Great staff but facilities fell short this time. I stayed in a different part of the hotel on this occasion and it didn't meet my expectation. The room was smaller than I've had in the past. As a frequent visitor to the hotel; it would be beneficial to have perks and extras or reward of some kind. I like coming back because of the leisure facilities but the hotel doesn't have a loyalty reward programme. I have asked the management and they said they don't offer rewards which is a shame.
