very pleasant and lovely food. lovely location and friendly staff. Sadly we did not receive the ESPA products which was part of the upgraded package. Unfortunately we did not print the confirmation to take with us but double checked on our return home.

Wonderfully relaxing. Will definitely be returning! So relaxing. Loved the walks surrounding the area. The spa was amazing. Will be back to spend more time in there. A bit pricey at the bar and the breakfast but I suppose that's to be expected.

Very relaxing, enjoyable, staff very helpful, friendly and efficient Food was good, breakfast a bit hectic but good, spa excellent, room cleanliness not up to normal standard was disappointed We brought family members that had never been before and their room was very dirty they had to be moved to another room which was a bit embarrassing for me as I had hyped the hotel up so much.the problem was resolved quickly and everybody was happy.

We went with DJ Thomas on a coach holiday, so it was very much used as a base. The room was a good size, serviced every day and very clean. It was over the front of the hotel which was noisy but didnt stop us sleeping.
Breakfast was good but the buffet could be better laid out. Putting the cereal on a seperate table with the milk and letting people do their own toast would save staff time. Our 7.30 breakfast time was also a challenge.
Evening meal was really good. Service very efficient.
General areas were exceptionally busy given there was a wedding and another coach party. This meant that table werent cleared of food as quickly as perhaps they should be. Bar prices were also a bit steep and stair cases and general areas need a deep clean.
The hotel is set in the middle of a housing estate with building work going on. We didnt use the spa but other guests reported how good it was. Perhaps a small enclosure out the front with tall plants would give a better view.
The best asset are the staff who on the whole are very young. Given the current climate they were very impressive. They delt well with some challenging and demanding customers. Kiera at dinner and Isabel at breakfast were stand out but all staff should be praised.
I would like to see some general recycling containers for guests. We took our plastic bottles and rubbish home.
On the whole the question would be would we go back and the answer would be yes. The hotel is delivering in exceptionally difficult circumstances.

The Hotel and Spa is lovely and the staff are friendly, courteous and efficient. The roads in the area are appalling. I understand that they are not the responsibility of the hotel but they seriously affected my opinion of the visit as a whole. I would not be in a rush to submit my car to that again.

The Lsst Drop Village Hotel and Spa is in a lovely location with quiant cottage shops and lots of land around to go for a walk and enjoy the views. The rooms are cosy and clean with plenty of closet space. The hotel was very accommodating and the staff were very helpful.

This hotel has a lot of potential but it has a few things it needs to sort. Firstly, the spa facilities were great (despite the plaster stuck to the wall in the main swimming pool) and we enjoyed the hydrotherapy pool. Our initial welcome was good, the receptionist kindly allowed us to check in 50 minutes early as our room was ready. However, on arrival to our room the bathroom door was broken meaning we couldn’t access it. We asked a member of the cleaning staff to report it, after 20 minutes we checked with that same cleaner if she had an update to which she responded “nobody at reception answered the phone”, at this point we then had to go back down to reception to ask maintenance to arrive. The maintenance person was extremely helpful and arrived promptly and semi resolved the issue, we could now open the door and get into the bathroom but we couldn’t lock it. After this we went down to the bar to receive our welcome glass of wine, which is a nice touch! My partner asked if there were any alternatives to wine maybe beer or soft drinks and the bar staff advised she would have to speak to her manager, the manager turned around, scowled and didn’t answer. This same issue arrived with our friends who were staying there, she is pregnant and can’t drink so reluctantly they gave her a Diet Coke for free instead. The breakfast is ok, the cooked breakfast is fresh and there’s a choice of juice and pastries. Overall, we enjoyed the majority of our stay but feel there were many things that could have been done by the staff to improve the interactions with their customers.

Arrived here as a last minute booking , a hidden gem for sure !
Polite staff ,excellent food , clean and tidy inside and outside.
The best bit … we could bring our dog … who absolutely loved it here and the walks we took him on over the three days we stayed.
The infinity pool was like getting into a hot bath which was amazing .
I had a massage which was tailored for my health and needs.
We all had an absolute brilliant time and cant wait to come back

Myself and my husband booked our wedding with the Last Drop 4 years ago, after seeing what a beautiful quirky venue it was and the easy, 'nothing is too much' attitude of all of the staff working there - it really sealed the deal for us.
Unfortunately a pandemic hit which meant our plans fell in tatters 3 weeks before the big day. Liz blackmore and her team handled everything so well during such an unpredictable time and honestly kept us sane. The venue have rebooked our date 5 times (!!!!) Seamlessly and with no repercussions on us which has been a massive weight lifted.
Finally yesterday we managed to have the most magical day in the Pennyfarthing suite which made the most beautiful venue. All of the guests commented on how beautiful the village, hotel and grounds were and how delicious the food was. The hotel rooms themselves were impeccably clean, beds super comfy and our bridal suite was decorated especially for us. the wedding team work so well together and Nasser, our master of ceremonies, really put our minds at ease - taking in every detail we asked for and really considering our individual wishes and taste.
We had a tiny mishap with a room booking which could have been a disaster but it was dealt with by the bookings team really swiftly which again really helped lessen the stress on what had already been a stressful event to organise.
The Last Drop Village Hotel has been an absolute dream and we couldn't have wished for a better day, a better venue and a better team to bring our vision to life.
Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts,
Mr and Mrs Barrett.

Would absolutely recommend a visit to the Last Drop Village! The full body massage is a must, it was superb & so relaxing!! The pools and facilities are good too! Room was nice and clean! Breakfast wasn’t great, assume it’s mass produced and therefore had gone a little cold. Overall, always a great experience!

Had a lovely overnight stay with my mum for her 70th birthday. Value for money is excellent as had a nice couple of hours at the spa followed by a delicious meal. Staff were all great and went.out of their way to help. Would definitely recommend.

It has great potential for the venue if someone gives it some TLC due to the courtyard layouts and the little shops. No aircon in the rooms so sleep was limited. Food quality was good but expensive and drinks were crazy. £9.40 for a glass of wine. Service was extremely slow due to lack of service. Could do with new ownership to bring it to life and give some investment.

Very good The bed was comfortable and had all the facilities I would expect. The room was quiet, as I'd requested, until cars started arriving for neighbouring building works. I paid the high room rate for the pool but it closed too early in the evening missing out twice, but managed a swim / jacuzzi on the final morning before breakfast. This was also expensive, but had a good selection. I'd requested a room with a view over Bolton having lived nearby nearby 1970-1997, but didn't get one, told I hadn't paid for it.

We found the spa to be very average and were quite disappointed. Room was ok but the carpet needs cleaning. Evening meal in the restaurant was poor but breakfast the following morning was good. Average stay and wouldn’t return.

I love this hotel - so friendly and quirky. The staff are helpful and chatty and the food ... delicious! Treat yourself to the spa whilst your there and make the most of it. For those looking to hold a conference - the facilities are excellent and the support staff so helpful

On 4th september dawn and myself held our wedding reception at the Last Drop. the event was for 154 guests the vast majority of whom stayed at the hotel the whole weekend. The venue itself was everything we hoped it would be and the staff simply could do no more to make our weekend perfect. A special thanks to Liz and Stewart on the day who made sure everything was what we had hoped it would be. A fantastic venue and great people
