Friendly staff who were keen to help. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Good shower pressure. Lots of parking available on site.

We loved this venue because we could take the dog. The Spa was fabulous and having somewhere to have a great walk right on the doorstep was idealic. Perfect location between Bristol and North Yorkshire as we can come one end of the country whilst family came from the other. Great dog friendly pub, the King William, nearby too!

This hotel is such a relaxing and beautiful hotel and spa. The back massage was wonderful and the spa is peaceful. You are able to go into the spa and out and then back in as there’s no time limit. Your also able to go in in the morning before check out which most spas don’t offer. They also offer 4/5 saunas, hot tub, Infiniti pool which is the perfect temperature, sun loungers and an indoor pool. Thr hotel is huge and goes right the way back with a little village that is a great walk.

Amazingly comfortable bed and good overall experience would recommend The bed was amazingly comfortable, best nights sleep at a hotel in a long time, room was cold which suited me, overall the décor is a bit tired in places but a good overall experience. The breakfast came super fast and the toaster worked well, which amazingly isn't usually the case. Friendly staff and generally good service.

Good value for the deal but did not live up to previous stays - no little touches and extra costs for dressing gowns, slippers and no bottled water in the room. The breakfast was good but sadly the evening meal was not cooked as we requested

Stayed for 1 night on Friday 19th November for my birthday on the meal deal package.

Positives - Fantastic service and great meal and breakfast which is why i am scoring 5 star due to service provided on restaurant and bar area which was very attentive and made up for negative issue. Bedroom clean and tidy. Nice atmosphere. Would return in future.

Pool nice feel building work not good when sitting in hydrotherapy pool as you are basically over looking building work and it is not very private but cant mark them down on this but would highly suggest the car parking area on the hotels land which is whats facing the pool area is blocked off and possibly trees planted or maybe a screening with tree like images on to make it more of a relaxing experience.

Negatives - Paid £12.50 extra upon booking to add on the "luxury pamper pack for 2"
Upon arrival to room - nothing extra in room! So my husband went to reception to enquire and the receptionist stated they would inform housekeeping to drop extra items off. When we were leaving to go to pool a housekeeper came and had items in her pinny... so on arrival back to room we got left 2 bottles of water on desk and 2 flannels and 3 little tubes which were espa shampoo... espa body lotion and espa shower wash! I thought £12.50 for 2 bottles of water and 3 x little tubes for 2 people. Im obviously aware that espa is an expensive range but didnt seem correct for 2 people from what the photo showed online! Wondering what they give to 1 x person - half a mini tube? Thought youd get 3 x little tubes each with the bottle of water and a flannel... so i telephoned receptipn and explained! The lady on reception was nice and agreed 12.50 was alot for what i had received which was basically 3 x espa travel tubes and 2 x bottles of water.. as the flannels were the hotels anyway.. she said she didnt have any products on reception and wasnt sure what this add on was meant to have to begin with.. she questioned it with another receptionist who wasnt sure... so no one knew what the luxury pamper pack add on even was or what was meant to be provided in it so obviously its not thr staffs fault as they clearly did not have a list behind reception with what add on products should have..
she said she would come up with some stuff they had from reception.. i assume to try and make up the 12.50...
. She handed my husband a clear bag with 2 x toothbrush boxes and tiny toothpastes in.. the soap the hotel provide and some shampoo and shower gel bottles the ones the hotel provide.. not luxury pamper items...

After 2 conversations with reception i just accepted I wouldnt get what i paid for but didnt want it to spoil the night away.

Not espa products and not luxury pamper items. Feel more training is needed to both housekeeping and reception if you are selling a service as an add on at checkout for 12.50 and especially with the photo provided when you are selling as it is a con.

Liz Blackmore, what a powerhouse of a lady! We couldn’t be any more complimentary of her, she was simply brilliant to have shared our wedding journey with.
We started speaking with Liz some 18 months before our wedding and despite the countless phone calls, 10’s of site visits and meetings she was brilliant! She really looked after us and made us feel like family throughout one of the most stressful times we’ll ever experience.
Liz took the time to understand exactly how we wanted the day to run and helped execute our vision down to the smallest details – nothing was ever too much and made us feel so comfortable throughout.
She was always at the end of a phone call, email or visit and we couldn’t have asked for anymore. She stepped up and helped us when other vendors let us down and was there to not only manage all things venue but a support to anything else we needed during and the lead up to the wedding.
The on site staff were also very welcoming and accommodated our guests well!
Thank you so much Liz!

No information in the room about the hotel and facilities, or information about the Drop inn the pub in the village.

Only 2 disabled car parking spaces by the main reception.

The room had a cracked sink in the bathroom, and the bathroom door was hanging on a very loose hinge.

The breakfast priced at £16.95 was extremely poor value the mushrooms were tinned the bacon was dry, beans were a strange colour..

Dinner bed and breakfast for £100 each was very good value and the evening meal was excellent, how ever you have to pick from certain meals on the menu.

The cheese board was £14.00 which is so over priced I laughed out loud for real

It was very busy as to be expected on a Saturday night with lots of people walking around in bathrobes again to be expected.

I have just stayed at the Last Drop Hotel for a spa break with four old friends to celebrate a birthday.
We had a great time. The rooms were good, the spa staff were very attentive and the meals were excellent. The facilities were excelllent, especially the infinity pool.
We would like to say a big thank you to Matthew (behind the bar), Tulisa and Isabel in the restaurant and Gerry (General Manager) for making our stay so pleasant.
We shall be returning again in the new year.

When I arrived I was greeted by a lovely lady on reception, however I was given the wrong room than I had paid for, she changed me twice for the room! But she was lovely enough to sort everything out.

Great place to stay.
Enter another world at this hidden gem in Bolton wit a mix of old style ad modern facilities meet....
The general feel is oldy worldy with a little set of old buildings converted y the hotel into the feel of small village, whilst the rooms are comfortable with good tv and Wi-Fi facilities.
The leisure facilities have a totally different feel, they are modern spacious and excellent and the staff and managers are friendly and helpful.

All in all we were very impressed by the polite professionalism of all staff we encountered. Ordered 2 vegan cooked breakfast but only one came. Honest mistake, and service was always courteous. 2nd day breakfast tea that was ordered was forgotten. Staff personally sorted the situation. In these circumstances I give them full credit because all effort was made for us. Unfortunately the bath in our executive room did not look too clean, and my wife refused to take a bath in it.
