Lastdrop are charging a premium price for the stays. But the food quality is not great.freezer to fryer squid, oily fish and chips. Not great breakfast, mainly hot food are served in small quantity. Steak paid even more but recieved a burnt piece.

Weekend stay The spa was lovely, room was clean, staff were polite and professional, evening meal was nice. Beautiful place and overall a lovely stay regardless of the few downfalls. The blind in the bathroom was broken and had to use towel to cover the gaps so nobody could see in from the outside, room needs a mini fridge as there is nowhere to keep things cool, breakfast was £16.50pp and in my opinion over priced for what you get and is self serving, bacon was hard due to being pre cooked. On arrival was not explained to where things were and had to walk around and ask people for directions.

Superb Great hotel and facilities brilliant breakfast I would go again but eat out for an evening meal. Evening Meal in the restaurant was very limited menus over priced I paid £123.00 for a family of 4 and I was the only one that ate the full meal.

I would not recommend the Friday fizz offer, on my arrival to the hotel room I did not receive any prosecco or extras and nothing from the executive package including robes or slippers etc, it was a very basic stay, I rang reception to explain and the lady informed me she would correct this. However, we then only received prosecco and nothing from the executive package. Dirty glasses were outside the room from entering to check out as no one had come to clean the hallway, this was from the previous guests at least, if not longer therefore not very sanitary with Covid. The room could benefit from updating and the chairs had stains on them but the bed was comfy. The restaurant was nice, we had a long wait to order a drink but overall a good experience. Breakfast was nice but nothing special. The spa was lovely but very busy to begin with. Overall, I would recommend but do not pay for any offers or extras as it was not delivered at least in this instance.

We had booked the romantic escape package, but not entirely sure what was romantic about it.
When we arrived the champagne that was supposed to be in our room wasn’t there, so we had to ring and ask for it. A member of staff brought this to our room, knocked on the door and as I was on my way he starts trying the door handle several times. Luckily this was locked so he couldn’t actually get in but I was just so shocked he would’ve just let himself in otherwise.
The robes left out on our bed were stained with what looked like orange food. The bedding also had stains.
I was looking forward to the spa, but I was disappointed that the infinity pool which on the website says looks out on the pennies in fact overlooks the car park and even worse, a new build housing estate.
The food in the courtyard restaurant I couldn’t fault, but overall I wouldn’t stay again.

Could have been better. room was clean and warm. Bed was very comfortable. Lighting OK. The bar and restaurant lunch and evening meals were very good. Breakfast on the Monday was very disappointing. the food was cold and stale having been reheated from the day before The breakfast was poor. The housekeeping was not up to standard. Towels weren't changed when requested and only one small bottle of shampoo and conditioner were provided for two of us during our 5 night stay.

Recently stayed at your hotel and spa
On arrival to hotel wasn't given free welcome glass of wine as expected.
Had Espa Spa Package which was very nice although felt slightly rushed.
Checked into Hotel room was smelt musty , and very disappointed to notice black mould on walls.
And was very cold .
Straight away asked to be moved into 2nd room which was slightly better but room very old and dated .
Basic facilities for a 4 star room
Carpet dirty
Uncomfortable beds . Hard pillows and not the best nights sleep ever , which was a shame .
Overall experience I expected better !

Came back to this hotel after a previous good visit and wasn’t disappointed. Cleanliness and standard of the hotel is always great - and the facilities are amazing. Lovely spa area with gorgeous heated infinity pool and steam/sauna rooms.

Bar and restaurant areas are lovely too and always clean and well decorated.

Only thing that could be improved is the comfort of the beds but that’s down to personal preference. Last Drop Inn was closed too which was a shame.

Thanks for an amazing visit!

Had our wedding day here 29.12.2021. It was absolutely amazing! We had the most perfect day and had no worries as the staff were just incredible. Elizabeth the wedding organiser couldn’t do enough for us and kept me calm all the way leading up to it. Can not thank the whole venue enough. So many compliments about the venue and the food.
Thank you

Excellent service. Food was great and the room was very comfortable. A last minute one-night spa-break which was well worth the money and totally refreshing. Staff are very helpful. Grounds and location is beautiful with excellent walks around.

The Last Drop Village was an absolutely perfect venue for our wedding. We couldn’t have wished for anything more for our day. An extra thank you to Liz and her excellent team who kept us both calm and excited as we got married in the middle of a lot of government announcements. From booking the venue two years ago to the breakfast the day after our wedding, nothing was too much trouble including coming to visit both myself and husband the morning of our wedding to make sure we had eaten breakfast and providing tea and coffee to the conference room where myself and bridesmaids were having hair and makeup.

Because we got married during a cold December, Liz was able to provide us two spaces for our wedding so that guests could stay warm inside while the rooms were changed over. When we arrived at the venue the night before, Liz met us to collect the cake and favours and showed us the room for our reception to check that everything was okay. The hotel even and ensured that we had space the morning after the wedding to have breakfast with our guests who had stayed over.

Nasser was our master of ceremonies during the day and he was absolutely brilliant. He kept the day running so smoothly and made sure we could relax and enjoy our day while he got everyone into the right place at the right time, including myself and my husband. All of these little details made our day even better than we could have imagined. All of the staff made sure we really got to enjoy our day and they really couldn’t do enough for us and our guests. We had the most perfect day and can’t thank all the staff at the Last Drop enough.

We stayed New Year’s Day night which was so lovely after a busy Christmas.
We had the 3 course meal deal which was so nice we enjoyed every course, the pool and spa was also amazing and so relaxing.
The breakfast the next day was equally as good as the evening meal.

We cannot wait to return for a short break

Last minute booking for New Year Gala Evening Meal. I was informed booking in at 2pm book out 12 o’clock mid day and full use of all the spar facilities.
First impression shame the hotel is in the middle of a housing estate. Walking to the entrance we had to walk past the weirdest Spa pool l have ever came across in my life people in the pool leaning over a wall overlooking the car park and a housing estate ! Not my idea of a relaxing situation.
We paid over £400 for one nights stay. On booking into the hotel we were just give the room number and the key to our room, there was no welcoming or enjoy your stay and the staff seemed very cold. We also had to ask for information regarding the Black Tie evening meal we had booked. We were told to meet in reception around 7 o’clock for champagne and canapés and we would be escorted to the dinning area as the evening meal was not starting until 7:30.
Arriving at the reception area there was no one there to meet and greet us and no champagne or canapés, instead we were informed we had to go outside and walk around the back of the hotel across the rear car park to the Pennine Suite ( my wife had paid for her hair and make up to be done and she was wearing an off the shoulder evening gown and heels and no coat
all l can say is it was a good job it was not raining, snowing or blowing a gale ) The suite we were looking for we could not find as it is not very well sign posted and we had to ask a number of people for directions but no one knew where it was. We finally found the Suite and the evening meal was not served until 8:30, there was a resident lady singer who only sang 1950’s songs of people who were long dead it felt more like a morgue than a New Years Eve. The second spot she did was a little bit more lively. Then at 1 o’clock in the morning we had to make the return trip back outside across the rear car park and back to our hotel room. On entering the hotel we asked where the dinning room was for breakfast, we were informed that breakfast was served between 8am and 10:30 am as rooms had to be vacated by 11am and not 12 o’clock mid day as we had been told when booking. After breakfast next morning we had had enough and booked out, some people checked out and put cases in their car’s and then tried to use the spa but they were informed that as they had checked out they could not use the spa or any facilities.
The only good thing l can say about the hotel is the executive room we booked was clean and comfortable.
