Relaxing but expensive stay We love the spa, although it was really busy during the day. Rooms are clean and lovely bathroom. Easy to just stay there and relax and not have to leave for a couple of days. Breakfast was lovely, hot breakfast and continental. Bar and restaurant are very overpriced. £7.50 for a tiny slice of cheesecake. Food is nice but nothing overly special for the price. Room walls are very thin, could hear everything from next door.

We stayed overnight on 27th August this year... Very comfortable bed, lovely pillows, only let down by yellow marks on the neck of the white robe supplied. I didn't complain because I never wear them.
The evening meal was delicious, served by extremely busy waiting staff. The dining room was very busy( toddlers running around, but, what can you do?)
I especially want to give a mention to our lovely waitress, Isabel. She was so busy, but was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Last Drop village, look after her, she's a gem.We would recommend this hotel and spa. Also ,we went in the pool which was very nice along with the spa area. Thanks.

Lovely cottage style room, comfy bed, excellent breakfast and friendly professional staff, a perfect chance to relax in the pool and spa. These are all the positives.
The negatives are, the thermal spa zones are in need of attention with only 3 of the 5 in working order.
The beautiful countryside views that once existed and enhanced the infinity pool experience have become a massive building site with constant noise invading what should have been a tranquil and calming experience.
Such a shame, otherwise Perfect, thank you.

Visited with the besties for Festive Afternoon Tea, gorgeous hotel just a shame it feels like it's in the middle of a posh housing estate.
The food and service were excellent it wasn't super busy which during the Covid cases increase made us feel easier.

Perfect for us and managed expertly by Gerry. Dog friendly room with easy access to walk them in the countryside surroundings. The pool and gym were a welcome bonus.

Superb as always really nice stay, relaxing meal was excellent as was breakfast.
Spa really good although the booking times are bit of a pain, you have to book a swim first then use of spa after, Common sense required with regards to social distancing etc.

Last drop was well presented but disappointed with the food, I ordered a chicken dish and it arrived cold. After a replacement the food was quite good, but the portions were meager, value for money 3/10..

Was ok got a good deal £121 for a nights stay, room was ok not enough toilet paper for 4 people sharing a room, hotel bit dated and old looking. Food was expensive for what we got I ordered home cooked soup and tasted out of a can soup said home baked bread definitely wasn’t fresh bread, daughter had home made spaghetti Bol definitely wasn’t home made but over all staff was great, no music playing in the bar or restaurant, nothing was clear prices etc even for breakfast wasn’t very clear on prices etc. Staff were great we had a lovely time probably won’t go again but wasn’t amazing nor was it bad it was ok, could hear dogs barking from a room near to us which I thought was odd, but I have since read it’s pet friendly which is lovely but definitely not for me.

Booked a special offer, didn't disappoint, lovely two course meal and excellent buffet breakfast, which was hot and fresh. Spent time in the pool and spa which is lovely and clean, will definitely be back

great experience, very relaxing easy access to spa gym and pool high prices considering size of the room and quality. Generally bad location as a walk required to get to town or other places. high food prices

5 star for all staff, spa staff, food and service, lovely place although our courtyard accommodation looked like the carpet needed cleaning and blue cushion on bed very badly stained but this did not spoil our stay

Stayed here over Christmas, if it went wrong Christmas could have been ruined but it was perfect. Excellent food and service. Our family were all given rooms in a ‘cottage’ together. Breakfast was fab. Rooms all clean and quite good size. Spa on Christmas Day was very welcome addition. Really friendly staff

Although dogs are allowed there is not much thought given to dogs and their owners It has a swimming pool, and we were allowed to bring our dog. Staff were never proactive in helping us. We always had to ask questions, eg where is the pool, where is breakfast served and at what time, is there a part of the restaurant where we can have the dog with us, etc. As it turned out, we (5 people) had to eat at a small, low table in a side area of the bar which was really uncomfortable, especially at breakfast when we had to carry plate of food out the room where it is served to get to the table. The breakfast was expensive and not very good, and they forgot to bring me my coffee.

This was our first ever UK Christmas hotel break and Christmas lunch in a restaurant. I was incredibly impressed with everything. The staff were absolutely excellent - I was totally impressed with their friendliness and politeness. The whole Christmas break was a phenomenal experience. The only thing I would say you might need to consider is the meal option on Christmas Day night. Having had the lovely 5 course Christmas lunch, I was a little taken aback by the 3 course evening meal option. Ideally, a buffet snack option would have been ideal. I was very impressed though that your staff allowed us to pick a snack option rather than the 3 courses. I wouldn't want to waste the lovely food you served. Incredibly impressed with the whole experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to my friends and family. Thank you for a lovely Christmas.
