My cousin and I had our second annual trip to the last drop hotel and spa. We have booked again for next year.
Excellent points:
Every single member of staff are brilliant. Friendly, fun and cannot do enough to help.
All of our food was brilliant. Every meal was really tasty. Enjoyed every bite.
We had some lovely treatments at the spa. Again, the staff were lovely and very good at their job. We came out of our treatment floating.
Good points:
The thermal pool was great. It was a little cooler than last year but still nice.
Not so good points:
we stayed in room 78 which was a Cottage Executive Double. This was the room we were in last year, 2022.
It was in need of a freshen up back then. It really needs it now. We had to clean the radiator and wall when we arrived. It was covered in spilled coffee. One of the bedside lamps was completely broken.
The carpet really needs changing. It’s not the cleanest.
On balance, the room is not a deal breaker. Because of the amazing staff, food, spa and attached pottery, we have booked for next year already. We have requested room 80 which looks much nicer. Fingers crossed.

We nipped to the drop in pub for Sunday lunch not sure what to expect the food and service was excellent 👍 well worth the money food was hat well cooked and fresh the staff very friendly and made us feel welcome I would highly recommend not many places can get Sunday roast dinners right the chefs at the last drop certainly can

We have stayed here many times and have always enjoyed our stay, especially the thermal suite. The bed was very comfortable and the room lovely and warm. One of the best things is that we can bring our dog, who also loves it.

I worked for the last drop for 6 months and when I left Laura did my exit interview. She was thorough and helped me when I needed my uniform too. She is a credit to the last drop. She is truly a credit to the last drop. Thanks for making my experience working with the last drop so pleasurable

This hotel was recommended to me by a business colleague. I've stayed at a couple more in the area and I'm looking for a base. As far as accommodation goes it's adequate..just. Parts of the place are top drawer, others are bottom shelf. WiFi, Bedroom, Staff, Breakfast, Price ..All good no problems at all.
I used the Thermal Suite.....hhhmmmm Changing rooms are in desperate need of upgrading the lockers are almost falling apart. There were discarded water bottles and hotel towels on the foor in the changing room. The Shower fittings need addressing (one had no head bracket). The swimming pool was pretty cold but I got used to it after a few minutes. Sauna, Steam, Salt, Aroma rooms all more than acceptable but the "Thermal Pool" itself wasn't very Thermal it was nearly lookwarm and very disappointing. People were saying it's been like that for a while and there is supposed to be something that needs fixing. I wholeheartedly agree. Also..it could do with a good clean especially the windows and glass partitions which look grubby and unchecked.
I was looking forwards to a long Soak but alas it wasn't to be.
The bar area is nice, reasonably priced drinks and quite busy. I didn't eat dinner there.
Overall I wasn't that impressed but I will try it again in a few weeks just to see if the problems have been resolved. I sure hope so. The area around seems lacking in decent accommodation facilities.

Since we last visited 7 years ago, we can see that there has been a lot of good refurbishment to rooms and the spa area. Our stay was enjoyable and relaxing.
The shower tray in our room needs some attention as it has a problem with drainage.

We got married here and stayed as part of our wedding. It truly is a wonderful hotel in a lovely location. The facilities are fantastic and the staff and so friendly, yet professional in all aspects. They could not do enough for us to make our special day run perfectly and it truly added to a stress free day which we and all our guests throughly enjoyed, many of whom had not visited before and commented that they would be returning.

Always lovely - went in the spa facilities, chilled out and drank loads. Rooms comfy and bathrooms nice. Staff always friendly, bar good. Restaurant up to its usual excellent standard. Food Lovely as always.

I joined the last drop Friendship on the hotel website. This gave me free access to the spa and gym, a £10 voucher to use on food or drink and a free glass of house wine. Staff were all really helpful. Gym was brill, spa is good and i used both between 6pm and 7.30pm. Food in the pub on site was excellent. Only really one thing to moan about was the room was ridiculously hot, but i slept with the window open.

I had booked spa treatments for both my husband and I, but after a very busy, stressful week at work I thought it would be nice after the spa to chill in an hotel room rather then a cold drive home. It was with out a doubt the right choice. Our bedroom was warm and cosy for our last minute night away. We will be booking again

Would definitely stay again. Great place for a party 🥳. Staff were very helpful. Sandwiches which we sent for were very good 👍. Me and my family had a very pleasant stay. Would recommend it to our friends and family. Hope to come back.

Had a lovely overnight spa break celebrating my mums special birthday. Spa treatments were fantastic. Thermal journey was really nice. Hotel staff were all really helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Food and wine was really good. We will definitely be returning!

The friendliest staff! From the front desk to the restaurant, everyone was helpful and a pleasure to deal with. we can’t praise you all highly enough.
The room was really comfortable, a little tired around the edges but we all slept well.
The spa was really enjoyable. It is a little strange to be facing people’s homes from the spa pool, but we still really had a great time.

Booking and Payment issues still not resolved. The hotel is nice, the food offerings adequate and in general the staff are good. Rooms are clean, just a bit dated. Car parking is difficult if you check in late.
