I have stayed at the Last Drop many times over the last years and I really rate this place as a favourite - my job involves many overnight stays during the ear and this is always a comfortable place to stay.

Ive just returned home from a week here. As a first time solo traveller was a bit nervous. What a lovely place! I felt at ease immediately thanks to Aiden, Jane and Caitlin at the Drop inn. Service and food was impeccable (thank you Jane .. the chef). Rooms clean, nice and relaxed atmosphere whereever you go. Sadly the infinity pool was having renovations however the main pool and saunas (5 different ones were still open. If you like a walk theres plenty ask at reception for a map. Would i recommend? 100% i would and i for one will certainly be returning. Thank you for a relaxing memorable week.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were mostly clean but suggest staff try dusting the wardrobe shelving as there was a thick coat of dust (this was a comment during my last stay.

The bed was very comfortable, but the furniture, decor and carpets have seen better days and I think the a refresh is long overdue.

The swimming pool and gym are free for guests to use and are clean with friendly staff.

I've always found the food to be excellent and reasonably priced with a good selection of wine.

One thing I've commented on before (but has been ignored), is that the bar does not offer any real ale either on tap or in bottles or draught. If you like lager, then you will be fine but, be aware the Guinness is out of cans and you will be charged £5.95!

Interesting place to be honest. It's a hotel but not really as it's several small areas, some of which are a bit quirky. The room I had was large and ok (the one I had last year was better) but the hotel feels unloved, unkempt and in need of work in a lot of the communal areas. The front of house staff were nice - one was having a bit of a "betsy" with a guest on the phone which wasn't great but there we are. Breakfast was very good!

Myself and daughter had this treatment and it was a lovely treat for both of us. It was a 55 minute treatment of back massage, facial and scalp massage. I had therapist Ria and what a brilliant massage I had. She got rid of lots of stress and tension in my shoulders and neck area, felt liberated to say the least. My skin was glowing after my facial and I felt amazing. My daughter had Jleigh as her therapist and said she was brilliant throughout, she felt relaxed and calm and we went home feeling revived. Brilliant customer service, excellent in their profession and we will definitely be both returning.. next time with our mothers and in law also.
Absolutely 5 star 👍 and I will be recommending this spa to all x

Absolutely amazing and lot of things included when you stay like you get free drinks pp on your stay!! The spa facilities are beautiful though the thermal pool could have a better view rather than a carpark

Good overall, watch for charges and price increase ls It's a nice hotel in nice grounds l. The staff are friendly and the service is very good. We had a few hours in the spa which was very relaxing and not overly busy. There are multiple venues for weddings and conferences in the complex. There are a few bars and places to eat in the grounds There is plenty of parking space to be had. Pet friendly. Hidden charges, £20 per night for my dog. I also didn't like the breakfast charges. £15.50 per person to book the breakfast the day before or £17.50 on the day. Very expensive for a few sausages, beans, bacon, egg and mushroom. I heard that it was £13.50 if booked on booking.com but that wasn't obvious at the time of booking.

Front of house staff are polite and helpful, the food in both the pub and main restaurant is excellent so overall fantastic. I would highly recommend this to not just workers but family also. Earns five stars in my opinion.

First time at The last drop village.
Lovely staff nothing too much trouble
Food excellent.
Plenty free parking spaces.
Just the rooms are looking tired and could do with modernising.
The Outdoor Hydrotherapy Pool wasn’t open which we wasn’t told about until we arrived so a bit annoying.
Still a lovely night away.

Attended a charity event on Saturday 2nd Dec and had a fantastic evening. The food was lovely, hot and served very quickly by very nice staff. We have been here before and as usual the rooms are clean and comfortable with a great bathroom. My only complaint is that they are too warm inside, even for this time of year. We were unable to turn our radiator down so we thought the temperature would automatically turn down while attending the event. We returned to our room around 2am to find it so hot. We opened the bathroom windows but it didn't help really. Other than this we wouldn't fault it. Breakfast was very good and more than enough to start your day. We remember the manager from our last visit as as always he works so hard to make sure everyone is looked after and served well. Well done to all the staff for making our stay a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

The must about be the fifth or sixth time we have gathered at the Last Drop for a family Christmas doo. We are always well looked after but this year all I can say is WOW!
Mr McGee and his team have excelled in looking after us. From the arrangements themselves with Leesa and Lindsay to the actual weekend - everything was first class. Franco treated us like royalty on Saturday and the meal itself was superb. Compliments to the Chef! Also the staff on the Sunday in the Drop Inn and Rivington Suite were all amazing. You have raised the bar another notch this weekend - thank you! Already looking forwards to 2024's festivities !

Everything was absolutely brilliant apart from the spa, which is the main reason we booked. Unfortunately the temperature was lower than what it should be due to a problem with a heating element. This meant that the pool water and the sauna, steam room temperatures weren’t as high as they should be, which was noticeable

Booked our Gokden Wedding Party and several guests stayed over. Staff went over and above for my daughter who has an autistic child. Recommend highly
They could not have done more for him to make him feel safe and happy

Nice venue, great staff, eat elsewhere Really friendly and helpful staff. Environment and rooms are clean, well presented and perfect for our needs. The quality of the food lets the venue down, especially at the prices they are charging. For example a lunchtime panini had never seen a panini machine, it had been microwaved. The filing was one slice of ham and a sprinkling of shredded cheese that was hardly melted. This wouldn't meet my expectations at any price, certainly not at close to £10. If they could improve the quality of the food it might warrant the prices and would then get a 5 star rating from me.
Its a shame the nice views have been lost to the housing estate b ut thats beyond their control.

Lovely room, excellent spa treatments, food great. Staff very friendly and helpful also, Only slight gripe as the public areas ( dining room and comfy seating areas in reception) were a little chilly.

All staff were very genuinely friendly and helpful. Spa facilities were and the bar and restaurant area was very nice. We were in one of the chalet block rooms on the upper floor at first glance it reminded me of a posh Butlins but the interior of room was very modern stylish and bathroom had clearly been refurbished to a high standard. My meal on Friday night was cold and I had to send it back
