Everything about our wedding was faultless.
From the first phone call Liz was excellent, booking around 18 months in advance, there was plenty of time to discuss our options and what would work best. Nothing fazed Liz, she had a helpful answer to evert question and concern. We came up with a plan and stuck to it!
We had multiple meetings and visits to the room and always came away more confident in how the day would go.
The final meeting we ticked off evert detail, which removed any uncertainty or worry. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, even accommodating some strict dietary requirements never felt like an inconvenience.
As a serial overthinker, Liz was always there with a reassuring comment to remind me it was all going to be perfect when I was panicking. Her professionalism is always balanced with a personal touch and it was clear that she cares about every event. Every member of staff, bar, waiting and event staff was so lovely and helpful.
Our wedding breakfast was delicious, every course served on time, piping hot and with good quality ingredients. We knew it would be because it was just as excellent at the menu tasting.
The discounted rooms for our guests was very well received and the rooms were clean and very comfortable!
There isn't a single thing I would change, our day was amazing, we are so happy! The amount we paid was competitive and was worth every penny for everything that we got included in in our Grand Affair package.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Last Drop for any function, or a good meal.

We went for a friends birthday there were 7 of us Lovely meal at dinner and breakfast was good Could not fault hotel or staff weather was good so we were able to sit outside by the pool area Great time would go again .

Welcomed by a lovely young lady at the reception, so helpful and made us feel so welcome. Another lovely lady showed us our way to the cottage too, it was a maze, but we loved it. The room was spacious and had or of the facilities we needed... Even a hairdryer! Greeted with a ice bucket of champagne and chocolate's. The restaurant did amazing food, I especially loved the fish and chips, cooked lovely, the fish was so tender. Again the lady on the bar was so friendly, we had a great laugh. The sauna spa was awesome! The outside bit with waterfall was a great touch! Thank you so much for making our time there extra special. We will be booking again in the up coming months as it was that good. Thank you to all your team!

Lovely place , food a bit of a let down , little things let it down , breakfast was lovely but food in pub definitely needs work , the overall place is lovely husband loved the spa, could do with some TLC bit dirty in places

Lovely, peaceful weekend due to friendly, professional people caring staff in a great location. Food was fantastic, well cooked, well delivered and well worth paying for. Really nice and attentive, friendly staff. Really nice surroundings enjoyed it.

This is a great hotel, the facilities are amazing, the price is great value, staff are very accommodating, lovely vegan breakfast. Can't fault it. I just wish the guests wouldn't touch the vegeterian utensils with the meat on their plates! Very ignorant and off putting. Also, would be even better if there was a kids pool

We enjoyed an overnight spa break. Staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Guest rooms clean and bright. Bar meal lunch and restaurant evening meal excellent. Altogether a positive experience.

This Hotel and Spa is great because the staff are cheery, helpful and can't do enough to ensure a lovely stay.

The wedding team did an amazing job for our daughter's wedding. The service and reception were held here and all our needs were met ...even a quirky menu! A great day was had by all and it was so nice to not have to organise taxis for our guests.

Room was disappointing wasn’t perfectly clean. There is a generator or something that was noisy all night, room was over warm, couldn’t open window due to generator noise. Food was nice, evening meal and breakfast had lovely facial highly recommend the spa

Stayed overnight on the Spa Revive Package which included B&B, evening meal and a spa treatment.
All staff are extremely friendly and ensure you are looked after. Spa/pool facilities are great but on this occasion we didn’t use these but enjoyed our spa treatments. Very relaxing! Food was lovely in the evening and breakfast. Rooms very clean but not enough tea/coffee provided for 3 people but was given some more from reception. Lovely walk round the little village and loved the gift shop. Would definitely recommend this package as we have stayed here a few times now as it’s great value for money and will definitely come back again. Thank you

Excellent - we have stayed here about 4 times now. The food this time was incredible the previous times have been nice but this time was outstanding. The beef dish was beautiful! Reception checked us in quick room nice, spa pool brilliant. Adien in the pub was a diamond we came in as the bar was just about to close but still served us with a smile and made us feel so welcome, excellent customer service!
