Easy relaxing break , didn’t sleep well as a party was on in bar below us until 3:30 , should have joined them . The spa facilities are amazing, so relaxing, the set menu meal was delicious, beef so tender.

I can not thank our wedding planner Liz enough! Her and the team made planning our wedding day stress-free and easy. I was able to keep in contact with Liz throughout the whole process and she was so accommodating of our needs. Nothing was too much trouble and no question too silly. She ensured we had the wedding we had dreamt of and I can honestly say it was PERFECT! It ran so smoothly and was the best day we could have hoped for. This is all down to Liz and the team’s efforts and dedication to their jobs. I’d also like to give a special mention to Nasser and Zoe who ensured our ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception went off without a hitch which is exactly what happened. It could not have gone any better thanks to their organisation and experience. The service staff were friendly and polite all day and did a great job too! We just can’t thank them enough! We had to postpone our wedding by a year and Liz and the team made this process totally stress-free. They happily moved our date, honoured our original price and even moved all our guests room bookings over without anyone having to do anything. They made what could have been a very stressful situation so easy and we really appreciated that! I can’t recommend the Last Drop highly enough for weddings. The grounds are beautiful and the packages brilliant value for money in my opinion. Liz and the team are so approachable and helpful. They will listen and advise to ensure you have the perfect wedding day. We certainly did! Thanks so much again! We are still on cloud 9!
A very happy Mr and Mrs Thomason

2 night stay, room was large and spacious but for an upgraded room poor iron, no fridge or trouser press included. Great staff and location. Great food though soup was cold when first served but quickly resolved with new bowls

Recently attended my nieces wedding & stayed overnight & we were not disappointed by this beautiful relaxing hotel with lovely gardens. Booking in & out online was easy & efficient, good choice of food for breakfast as well. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for one night, booking the family break package. The thing that stood out the most was how friendly the staff are in all areas of the hotel. When walking around the hotel, passing staff would always say hello or ask if we were OK. Reception staff, restaurant staff and spa staff were all fantastic.
When we arrived for a swim at the pool , we were helpfully warned it was busy and were advised of quieter times. We decided to take a look anyway and stayed. The pool was busy-ish with families and children, so suited us. We had a brilliant time. Obviously if you are looking for a quieter, more adult swim experience, avoid half term holidays during the day.
The room was spacious and suitable for our needs and the location was great-we enjoyed a day at Smithills farm after our stay, which is only a short drive away.
My husband and I would love to stay again on our own in the near future, to take full advantage of the spa and bar facilities!
Thank you for a lovely stay.

Had a nice stay for my partner's 30th birthday. Spa facilities are excellent and they weren't too busy either. The food in the restaurant was really good too. Both my partner and I have specific dietary needs and they went out of their way to ensure we were catered for.

My mum and I thoroughly enjoyed our night at Last Drop, staff were lovely and the spa facilities were clean. The meal in the restaurant and the plentiful breakfast was also lovely, we will definitely be back!

Myself and my partner came here for a Christmas gift off a family member. We’ve been here numerous times and would definitely come back again. Friendly, polite, and pleasant staff, they have lovely facilities, and gorgeous food.

We had our wedding at Last Drop Village in the Penny Farthing Suite this past weekend.

I cannot recommend the wedding team there enough!! Jaqueline and her team, Zoe and Danny, made our day so special and couldn’t do enough for us! In the run up to the wedding nothing was too small or big of a task for Jacqueline, the response time between emails and any questions we had was so fast and efficient.

The team made all the planning so much easier and the packages that the hotel offers are fantastic, they really do think of everything to make planning the day so much easier!

The venue itself is so beautiful and I cannot wait to get my photos back to see how beautiful they turned out. If you are planning to get married in the future I would highly recommend this venue and the wedding coordinating team!

We stayed for 3 nights and they changed our room on the last night to a better room lovely breakfast-staff so friendly and helpful the room- felt like we’d been shoved in the corner to accommodate the wedding parties. The room was next to the linen room so a lot of coming and going by staff. The view from the infirm pool was a let down -houses have been built in front since my last stay

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The spa was lovely if a little tired in areas, spa staff were friendly and treatments were generally of good quality, although I came out of the facial slimy with excess products. As other reviewers say, a housing estate seemingly developed by the Emerson group, is now being constructed very close to the hotel and directly in front of the hydrotherapy infinity pool. I would recommend a one night stay only if traveling for leisure. The restaurant is dated and while there is a good range of food on the menu inc vegan options, there was a distinct ‘Fawlty Towers’ feel to the service at times. We had the impression from the website that there was a ‘village’ of small shops and a gallery and while there were some, they were a wedding boutique, hairdressers and card / gift shop so only a 10 minute walk around. On the whole, we enjoyed the stay, especially the spa pools and hot rooms.

Stayed for one night in an executive cottage double room on the very generous ‘Thank You’ offer. We paid extra for a couple of things which we were more than happy to do so - e.g. supplement for steak which my husband said was amazing, and three courses instead of two. Our room was much larger than I anticipated and was very clean and comfortable. The shower was lovely and powerful and the room was lovely and warm. The spa was great, shame about the new houses but that’s not the fault of the hotel and based on comments on Tripadvisor, the hotel are already thinking of how to screen the houses from view. The restaurant was lovely with fantastic service from all, we were made to feel special by all staff, from checking in, to the spa staff, restaurant staff to checking out. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who just fancies a little treat for themselves.

Super spa and lovely staff , great stay. The staff were fantastic especially in the bar area, super friendly yet professional and they really made the stay memorable. The pool and spa were just brilliant loved the thermal spa , it was fantastic and the pool was super clean and a perfect size for swimming. The room was spotless ,comfortable and in the courtyard which was perfect location as near to the heart of hotel. Loved the pub on site . tea shop and gift shop too. Our main issue really was the cost of the breakfast, we really found it overpriced for what it was. We had a room only booking so were surprised at the £16 a head cost! A bit cheaper if booked with room apparently which would be my tip. When we have paid that much for breakfast we are usually in a 5 star hotel and receive a choice such as eggs Benedict, Royale , pancakes, omelettes cooked to order etc so were disappointed to say the least. If you are going to charge that much then there should be a cheaper option to just have continental breakfast , especially if like myself not a fan of the cooked breakfast so it was wasted on me. We did find half of our party who were staying at the hotel actually went into town to find a cheaper breakfast which was a shame.

A great hotel but the room was outdated and too small for a family of 4. Room service was advertised but we couldn’t get through to anyone. We also ate dinner one night and the kofta dish was the most awful thing I’ve ever seen or tasted.
