We enjoyed an overnight spa break. Staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. Guest rooms clean and bright. Bar meal lunch and restaurant evening meal excellent. Altogether a positive experience.

This Hotel and Spa is great because the staff are cheery, helpful and can't do enough to ensure a lovely stay.
The food in the Courtyard Restaurant is delicious and good value for money.

The wedding team did an amazing job for our daughter's wedding. The service and reception were held here and all our needs were met ...even a quirky menu! A great day was had by all and it was so nice to not have to organise taxis for our guests.

Room was disappointing wasn’t perfectly clean. There is a generator or something that was noisy all night, room was over warm, couldn’t open window due to generator noise. Food was nice, evening meal and breakfast had lovely facial highly recommend the spa

Friendly staff, good service, clean rooms, excellent spa treatments. I would return again and definitely book myself in for a back massage. Best aspect of break and the food was good quality. Enjoyed the break

Stayed overnight on the Spa Revive Package which included B&B, evening meal and a spa treatment.
All staff are extremely friendly and ensure you are looked after. Spa/pool facilities are great but on this occasion we didn’t use these but enjoyed our spa treatments. Very relaxing! Food was lovely in the evening and breakfast. Rooms very clean but not enough tea/coffee provided for 3 people but was given some more from reception. Lovely walk round the little village and loved the gift shop. Would definitely recommend this package as we have stayed here a few times now as it’s great value for money and will definitely come back again. Thank you

Excellent - we have stayed here about 4 times now. The food this time was incredible the previous times have been nice but this time was outstanding. The beef dish was beautiful! Reception checked us in quick room nice, spa pool brilliant. Adien in the pub was a diamond we came in as the bar was just about to close but still served us with a smile and made us feel so welcome, excellent customer service!

Lovely hotel. Rooms clean. Nice gym, spa and pool. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The surrounding walks are beautiful. If you want a certain massage though book early as I couldn't get the one I wanted a week before.

We went for a one night stay in a cottage room, room was great size and very clean. Staff couldn’t do enough for you very friendly. Although we found drinks a little expensive you do however expect this when going.

We had a nice stay and spa was lovely. We loved the pool and sauna.
Food in the restaurant was good, however, the staff in the restaurant could be friendlier and be more attentive to the tables. We had the vibes that they didn’t want to be there… had to chase few times the waiters to order more drinks.
But overall we had a great weekend and would recommend.

A little gem of a Country hotel between Leeds and Manchester. Spacious rooms, delightful staff, amazing spa facilities (free but you can also pay for treatments). Beautiful location.Would visit again.

I phoned while we were on the way, at 8am to say that we were coming up from Cambridge, for a wedding that was being held there at 2pm. Check in is 2pm, unless you give them prior notice then they can sometimes let you check in early, I figured 3 hours was plenty of warning and was hoping that at least one of our 2 rooms would be ready by 12 latest (as check-out is 11). We had 4 children all in their pyjamas and my husband and I also weren't dressed for the wedding! We eventually got into one of the rooms (the smaller one of the two) just after 1, we had just over 35 minutes to get everyone ready and back downstairs ready to be seated for the wedding...not good, everyone was rushed, hot and bothered at this stage :( Also, bedroom was really warm, could've done with a fan in there.

Stayed 2 nights for friends wedding and it was near to the venue couldn’t fault our stay . Room was nice and spacious very clean.. breakfast was great nice choice of food .. staff were nice and friendly would stay again

Stayed one night with family in two executive rooms. Bar food and restaurant food were amazing and of a high quality. Spa facilities were fantastic and treatments very relaxing. Staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure your stay was a great one. My one issue would be the cleanliness of the carpets in the rooms - ours had not been hoovered jelly sweets behind the dressing tables and chairs and they really do need a good clean. Apart from this issue we would return.
