Spa changing rooms and guest rooms were a bit dated and in need of refurbishment which didn’t give us a good first impression. However, everything else was very good, pleasant staff, good spa facilities, lovely dining and we would visit again.

Great place, great facilities with lovely staff and food Lovely hotel and facilities, great gym with plenty of machines and free weights available (did not use the spa so cant comment), 3 restaurants (bar, pub and formal restaurant) all with different menu's, good comfy rooms and facilities. Really enjoyed my stay here and will stay again when working in this part of the world. N/A as everything was great.

Great food, lovely staff and fabulous spa treatments. Had the most fabulous massage from rhia (I think that was her name) loved the check in and out online it made things so much quicker. My only issue was the shower wasn’t hot enough in our room.

A hotel and experience which could be so much better with a few things changed. We booked a suite and the room allocated was in quite a bad state. Needs some remedial work doing on it. Just hope that’s not where some of the brides stay.

Avoid pub food at lunch time no great choice on the menu.

The scenic view has now been replaced by houses.

Ok but could be so much better Love the little village layout, there is plenty to see and do. We liked that it’s dog friendly and the staff were friendly. There isn’t enough parking on site.
Our room was dated and could have been cleaner. If you want a flat white with soy milk it is not included in the price of the breakfast and will cost and additional £4 which makes the overall breakfast cost ~£20 which is high. If you do bring you dog you have to sit in the dog section for food which is fine however they only have either high bar stools or sofas and coffee tables, nothing in between.

Just got home from a perfect couple of days away. We regularly visit different locations around the UK and this is one of the most pleasant trips we’ve taken.

We were greeted at reception my a very friendly trainee receptionist who couldn’t have been more helpful. The staff were very friendly

We had heard that the location was a bit tired in decor. However, our room , no 88, looked like it was brand-new. Comfy bed, immaculate, bathroom and overall cosy experience . All the facilities we experience were well presented and gave a luxurious feel.

Food was a high-quality with a varied menu to cover most tastes. Reasonably priced. You can eat in three locations offering different menus. Pub has live music at the weekend.

Leisure facilities were excellent. Pool was a little on the cool side. However, the infinity pool was really warm and very relaxing.

We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend this location.

Me and my mum stayed overnight with the dinner and breakfast deal. Absolutely amazing from start to finish, staff were so friendly in all areas and the food was incredible. The spa area was really clean and the facilities were lovely. We booked treatments on the morning before we checked out and both had a fantastic facial from Lydia and Jessica. We had a great stay and will definitely be looking to return.

Lovely , relaxing, well needed short break for us both. Lovely room, large bed and excellent bathroom facilities with plenty of space to relax .( although we could hear a man who appeared to be worse for wear with drink continually shouting/ talking to his partner ! )
Spa and swimming area lovely ,not too busy and staff lovely.
Excellent breakfast, very polite and welcoming staff. Food was very hot and well cooked.
We found some of the spa facilities unavailable in the evening.
We ate in the outside pub late afternoon and I ordered pizza which was rather greasy.I did not realise until after that they used vegan cheese which probably accounted for this . An alternative cheese would be nice to customers who were not vegan

I rang to book afternoon tea and spoke to a young man who assured me my booking was fine and he would make sure he recorded it.
On arrival we were not expected, but the young lady who received us said it wasn’t a problem and seated us.

A pot of tea arrived in a stainless steel pot which barely held enough for two, although another pot wasn’t a problem. The food arrived promptly. The sandwiches were nothing special and some of the bread was bordering on stale, as were the scones really, although just about edible. The Lemon Drizzle cakes were lovely as was the Tiramasu: we couldn’t manage the rest.

The staff were pleasant and accommodating.
The restaurant in which it was served, was very outdated and tired looking. The whole experience was very underwhelming sadly.

We stayed here for one night in January 2024 in an executive bedroom. The hotel was lovely and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful it had a fireplace but it didn’t have a mini fridge which we like to have for fresh milk and water. We ate in the hotel bar and the food was good too. The hotel, the grounds and the facilities are amazing there is a pub, a wedding shop, a tea room, a gallery and a hairdressers great venue.

The spa facilities included in the room rate, my room was a very good size and clean. No robes in the room, would be a nice touch for going down to the pool, also that you have to book a pool slot.

Booked a spa day for 2 with a salt scrub treatment. The thermal spa was lovely with a variety of different sauna and steam rooms available. Shame the new houses have spoilt the view of the hills but still a really nice, relaxing experience. Had my treatment with Ria who was really informative and made the experience really calming. The products used left my skin feeling amazing. All the staff within the spa and the bar/restaraunt were friendly and approachable and the atmosphere felt very comfortable. Would definately be going back.
