Stayed for one night in an executive cottage double room on the very generous ‘Thank You’ offer. We paid extra for a couple of things which we were more than happy to do so - e.g. supplement for steak which my husband said was amazing, and three courses instead of two. Our room was much larger than I anticipated and was very clean and comfortable. The shower was lovely and powerful and the room was lovely and warm. The spa was great, shame about the new houses but that’s not the fault of the hotel and based on comments on Tripadvisor, the hotel are already thinking of how to screen the houses from view. The restaurant was lovely with fantastic service from all, we were made to feel special by all staff, from checking in, to the spa staff, restaurant staff to checking out. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who just fancies a little treat for themselves.

Super spa and lovely staff , great stay. The staff were fantastic especially in the bar area, super friendly yet professional and they really made the stay memorable. The pool and spa were just brilliant loved the thermal spa , it was fantastic and the pool was super clean and a perfect size for swimming. The room was spotless ,comfortable and in the courtyard which was perfect location as near to the heart of hotel. Loved the pub on site . tea shop and gift shop too. Our main issue really was the cost of the breakfast, we really found it overpriced for what it was. We had a room only booking so were surprised at the £16 a head cost! A bit cheaper if booked with room apparently which would be my tip. When we have paid that much for breakfast we are usually in a 5 star hotel and receive a choice such as eggs Benedict, Royale , pancakes, omelettes cooked to order etc so were disappointed to say the least. If you are going to charge that much then there should be a cheaper option to just have continental breakfast , especially if like myself not a fan of the cooked breakfast so it was wasted on me. We did find half of our party who were staying at the hotel actually went into town to find a cheaper breakfast which was a shame.

A great hotel but the room was outdated and too small for a family of 4. Room service was advertised but we couldn’t get through to anyone. We also ate dinner one night and the kofta dish was the most awful thing I’ve ever seen or tasted.

The room smelled bad when we got in. We had to pen the windows and spray perfume around. Not much variety in the restaurant. Coffee was lukewarm at breakfast, had to ask for another one. The bed however was very comfortable

Bar meal was disappointing as we changed from the restaurant due to preferring the menu so disappointing as one meal was not appetising. Overall would stay again, would also book a spa package as you get robes and slippers. Spa was lovely wanted to stay for longer!

My husband and I really enjoyed our overnight visit to Last DropVillage. Everything was as we expected it would be. Friendly staff, clean room and good spa facilities. Our only observation is that the portion sizes are quite small for the prices paid. Highly recommended however.

Many years ago it seemed in the middle of nowhere , sadly not anymore 🙁 Breakfast and cleanliness were first class . The only issue I had was their was no hot water for a shower in the morning, I even ran the hot tap for 10 minutes to no avail , couldn’t even have a shave . I mentioned it at checkout to a non-pluses receptionist lol .

Pleasant The spa Village is good but ruined by new build Poor quality overpriced breakfasts, limited dinner menu which again overpriced, rooms are dated and dirty. Spa hydropool looks into people's houses.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay at the last drop village hotel and spa. Made use of the spa, which we enjoyed and the food in the restaurant was lovely. The 2 glasses of free wine and the £10 voucher was a nice touch. Executive room was a little tired, however the mattress was very comfortable. Would definitely stop again, great value for money. Anne on reception was very helpful on arrival and was very welcoming. Thank you Anne!

Nice hotel on the outskirts of Bolton with comfortable bed and friendly staff. Online reservation was confusing but managed to get the room we needed but it was not cheap at £410 for a 3 nights stay. We were given 2 small bottles of water and 1 set of toiletries to last us 3 days? Had to ask for fresh towels each day, extra toiletries and some of the pillows were lumpy. Pointed this out to room service who quickly replaced items and made us feel comfortable. Breakfast on Saturday & Sunday was v busy but the staff were amazing and worked hard to keep everyone happy and seated quickly. Food was a bit bland but fine. We arranged for family to meet up on the green at the Last Drop for outdoor social distancing get-together as our original plans to go to a restaurant had to be cancelled due to someone being ill but it turned out to be a really lovely afternoon and we were v grateful to the restaurant manager who agreed the day before that it would be okay. Enjoyed the gym, swim and thermal suite over the weekend :)

Great hotel and staff the location has been spoilt by building houses in front and on the side of the hotel and the food is over priced and poor quality.

Nice spa , but 3of the sauna’s not working . Rooms out dated and dull. Food was nice , but dinning room dark and dismal . People in bar at 9 pm in dressing gowns . Food trays around hotel and cigarette butts .
