Lovely relaxing stay Room had a lovely view, two chairs and desk with chair. Breakfast was good even for vegan/vegetarians... all the staff amazing and happy to help with every thing you wanted. Lovely walks nearby too. No keen on showers over baths. No A/C and was warm weather.... didn't have a list of things available to you eg had to request a fridge or a fan.

A mid-age environment with lots of parking space.
Yet, some issue with our bath, the drain was stuck and required a very long time to drain off the water.
Another problem, the wedding ceremony played very loud music after midnight. It is absolutely not fair and very interrupts other hotel guests.

Booked as a surprise for my husbands birthday. The staff couldn't do enough and of course the hotel and spa was outstanding will be back. We came on one of there great offers. A must the Pizza meal wow brill and the pub was so down to earth. Free juke box big TV to watch sport if you wished. The surroundings was beautiful

Attended for a wedding! Lovely room and venue but the staff could be more friendly and helpful.
If you are staying here make sure you bring a coin for the locker for the pool. We don’t have cash and ended up with a belongings beside the pool.

We stayed on a Groupon deal which was £99 B&B with welcome drink. We had a really nice stay and will definitley be back.

The service was excellent, all staff very attentive, people working breakfast are working extremely hard, well done.

Spa was spot on, clean and well maintained. Yes there's a housing estate to look out onto instead of a nice view but who cares if you have good company!

Breakfast good quality. Rooms very clean and comfy beds. Honestly a gem of a place and probably doesn't get the credit is deserves. Hospitality has suffered hugely since the pandemic and staff are working hard, well done - we will be back!

Restful stay 28/08/22. Stayed for the NHS offer including 2 course main meal, breakfast and use of spa facilities. Room clean and had everything needed. Comfortable beds. Staff attentive, friendly and hard working. Food on set menu was very good and breakfast good also with variety of options, buffet style, both continental and hot English breakfast. Picturesque setting and grounds.

Few things that we felt let it down slightly and if rectified could make the hotel even better.
- lack of evening entertainment, for a weekend especially bank holiday we felt that a live singer or music was missing, lacking atmosphere
-Also the drop inn closed at 10:30pm which is very early for what is advertised as a “pub” to which the pool table was also out of order.
- spa facilities a little run down and could do with basic maintenance for example loose ladder in hydrotherapy pool, rusty/mouldy tiles in the aroma grotto and steam room
-amount if people using the spa - as you can only check in from 2pm, most guests like ourselves headed straight to the spa which was very busy, at one point there was nowhere to sit without invading others personal space both in the hydrotherapy pool and all the thermal suite rooms.
-supplement for robes and slippers - at other hotels we have stayed at for spa breaks, robes and slippers are always included so to be told it’s £10 extra for these was not ideal and quite disappointing

However, all in all a great stay and we would return on another promotional offer but feel a few changes would go a long way in and would take the hotel up a level in comparison to other like for like hotels we have stayed in.

Everything was fine with this hotel, pool does overlook car park and new houses have been built very close but i would certainly return, as these are only minor issues. We booked a deal including pizzas and overall thought this was good value for money.

After having postponed my daughters wedding twice (2020 & 2021) the day finally arrived, Liz was absolutely fantastic through the whole process, the hotel was very accommodating when it came to the menu tasting and it was made clear that what ever changes we wanted to make to the food choices and/or presentation of the meal would be catered for. On the day there was a room made available for hair and makeup and the bridal party were provided refreshments, which was appreciated.
Nasser who was our contact for the day was amazing, professional and friendly and certainly on the ball with preparing the room for the ceremony and the change over for the wedding breakfast and the evening reception. The meal was outstanding and every thing we had hoped for. if I was ever looking for a venue for any celebration I would not hesitate to use the Last Drop Hotel.

We have just had a lovely spa break stay over the Bank Holiday weekend. The spa facilities were well kept and our massages were very good. The restaurant evening meal was delicious, as was breakfast the following morning. The biggest asset to this hotel is the lovely, friendly staff. Particular shout out to the restaurant manager Franco, who went above and beyond during our stay, helping us get a huge spider out of our room. The hotel is a little dated and in need of a bit of a refresh but this isnt uncommon in this sector after 2 years of covid impacts on revenue.

We look forward to returning in the future.

Thanks!

Booked Last Drop Village Spa as attending a wedding nearby. I called the hotel to book direct as I wanted to request an early check in due to attending a wedding. When I said where the wedding was, I was told I’d get 10% off breakfast as they had a deal with the wedding venue, however, the price was still cheaper with booking.com and included breakfast so I opted to book through them. I was told to call the day before to request early check in and they said they would try their best to accommodate. We arrived at 1pm so only and hour early and after waiting nearly 15 minutes to be dealt with, I was told I had booked room only so would have to pay for breakfast. I told them my booking had stated “breakfast included” but they insisted I was room only and demanded to see my confirmation. After much discussion between staff members and scrolling though my email, they announced that this had happened a few times before and agreed that my booking did include breakfast. Well thank goodness for that…only to be told our room wasn’t ready but if we wanted to get changed for the wedding we could use the disabled toilet! I declined! The previous party of 4 had already gone to their room so obviously some rooms were ready. After more discussions, they found us a room but when we got there and were just about to get changed, housekeeping arrived and said they needed to change the bed so we had to vacate the room for 10 minutes. Next morning we were questioned again as to whether the breakfast was paid for!
An absolute shambles with extremely unhelpful and awkward staff.
That said, the room was nice albeit extremely hot and the bed was not made into a twin as requested

We came here for my mums birthday for the spa day with afternoon tea and the whole experience was wonderful. Even from booking on the phone all the staff were so lovely and really welcoming and understanding. The facilities were great, really relaxing but Paula Croft doing our treatments was incredible! My sister went first and came down raving about how lovely she was, then my mum went and was absolutely spoiled. Paula made us all feel so special, the treatments were so relaxing and she’s so clever tailoring our facial to what we needed. Can’t speak highly enough of her thank you ❤️

After travelling over 250 miles on particularly busy motorways the Last Drop is a haven of relaxation and a place to recharge the batteries. The hotel staff are excellent, friendly and eager to serve. The hotel is well appointed in a very convenient location with countryside walks adjacent to the grounds of the hotel. The bedrooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. I would recommend a visit to this well operated venue.

This was the first leg of my spa tour. Slight disappointment that not all of the spa facilities were working salt sauna, out of order. Apart from that this hotel doesn’t disappoint, the staff are friendly and it is a great location.
