Last drop village near Bolton, staff were excellent lovely rooms
Food was a set menu first night great, but then repetitive,
Hotel would benefit from some evening entertainment as a sports bar is not for everyone.we then went to Salisbury stately home where the tour guide was a witch who was extremely entertaining, got all historical points over in a fun way.
Then went on barge sail on kittiwake canal with high tea this too was excellent,
Highly recommend this tour ,

We have stayed at the Last Drop on three/four occasions and have never been disappointed. The hotel is set in lovely grounds, so quaint with the little village and separate pub and the accommodation always clean and comfortable. We have busy lives and like to get away for a night now and then and the Last Drop is the first place we think of going. The food is lovely, the staff always attentive and helpful and the surroundings and hotel is so relaxing. I would recommend The Last Drop Village to anyone, in fact we treated our daughter in law and son to a night away on her 30 Birthday, I wouldn't have thought of going anywhere else!! We are booked to go back again for an night in a week and am already packed!! x

We had our wedding here on 03.09.22 and it was absolutely amazing!! Can not recommend here enough, the perfect venue! All the staff were amazing but especially our wedding coordinator Jacqueline who made sure everything was perfect, nothing was too much and everything we wanted / needed was arranged for us!
We had our wedding in the harmony suite and it was beautiful, all our guests had an amazing time and the day was perfect from start to finish and our master of ceremonies Ryan was fantastic too! We also had an amazing meal the night before in the drop inn pub, the pizzas were unreal!! If you’re looking for a wedding venue, last drop is the perfect place!

Very good The spa facilities and breakfast We had a late drink in the bar after returning from a wedding. A group of people who were clearly too drunk were knocking over glasses making a mess and being a nuisance. Wasn't very keen that some of them were walking around in their PJ's. Just lowered the tone and was surprised nothing was said to them. The Spa is great but a pity you now look onto a housing estate that spoils the view whilst in the outside pool.

Great location to meet up with sister for a few days. Room was clean and spa facilities were great. Hotel is well run and staff were friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was great and we loved the little village pub and shops. Will definitely return.

I had the Innercalm and Mindful treatments which consisted of facial and full body massage.
Leanne was so proffessional and accomodating. I am not someone who can relax easy even though I love going to spa's, however Leanne worked her magic and was able to make me completely switch off and chill out. My skin was glowing and the products ESPA smelt gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this spa and beauty therapist, definitely will come back. Rooms and food were lovely.

Superb Everything I reserved room with booking. Com and it said breakfast was included only to be told by hotel staff that it wasn't included and I would have to pay for it.

Lovely stay will be back .. thanks Staff really helpful especially at the spa in the evenings and room clean and comfy but the spa and gym were fabulous. Being picky .. not enough hangers/ space for clothes. as we were there 4 nights , 3 adults ( mum / 2 sons ) and no air con but did give us a room fan.

The food in the restaurant was amazing and staff vey friendly and helpful, everywhere in hotel spotless. Shower in room was only warm and water pressure very low. TV in room was not placed in a good place, was unable to watch it in bed. Very comfortable and had a good night sleep. Spa facilities good, however too busy and didn’t stay long as nowhere to relax.

We stay at the last drop quite often. It is a good hotel but this stay was a bit below par. Our room was not cleaned for the second day of our stay. We were not able to use the pool on our departure day without an extra cost. We needed half an hour for the kids before we drove home. 10.45 to 11.15. There was a rather pernickety response and one of the reasons given - the pool usage at the time ‘quite busy’ was not the case - there were five pupils using what is a relatively large pool. We will go back but this has somewhat clouded our view of The Last Drop.

The hotel itself was pretty average, but the spa therapist Janet was the loveliest woman my husband and I have ever met! We were late to our treatments and were told that we won't be able to get it, as the spa is fully booked due to the holiday season, which was fair. However, Janise literally saved our spa break by squeezing us the next day before we checked-out of the hotel.

I have used the Spa service for the last 3 months and have been extremely please with the massage service provided by Leanne. She is very knowledgeable and experienced in managing my back pain.
i would highly recommend the back shoulders and neck massage to anyone who wants a very relaxing experience. I always feel invigorated after each session.

Had a lovely stay overall. I didn’t know prior to arrival that gowns are not provided for the spa - I did try and check website prior to visit to check this but there was no information about this. The room is very basic and bathroom needs updating a little but it was all very clean and well looked after. Shame the new housing estate spoils the view of the hills when in the infinity pool. Beautiful grounds with some lovely pic opportunities.

The Last Drop Village is beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff where superior.
The room was an executive suite clean and tidy lovely view - but had no A/C or fridge (which you could request- but no information was available to advice you) Room always cleaned and water given-staff outstanding. Breakfast was good vegetarian/vegan options were available on request.
The one thing that was a bit disappointing was the new housing estate which has just been built which gave it a less countryside appeal.
Spa was great

Had a lovely intimate small wedding held at The Last Drop Village Hotel. The organisation of the Wedding by Jacqueline, Wedding Co-ordinator, was fantastic and everything went according to plan on the Big Day. Our MC, Stu, also had everything under control on the Day and ensured the wedding ran smoothly. Thank you.

I booked a spa day with afternoon tea for myself and my daughter. My mindful treatment was really excellent, probably the best facial treatment I've ever had. Leanne was friendly, very professional and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The afternoon tea was lovely too. Friendly staff and great food highly recommended !

Not as good as we wanted it to be. Jean was a smiley face on arrival. We liked the breakfast - it seemed to be fresh and well-replenished. Zoe in the breakfast room was down-to-earth and very welcoming. Parking was easy. The thermal suite options in the spa area were varied! Location was useful for hosting a friend staying in Bolton. Our twin room felt stuffy, even though it wasn't a particularly hot day. There was no fan in the room and so we had to have the window wide open throughout the night. Noisy guests and banging external doors couldn't be blocked out. We had to move room due to the shower's thermostat breaking while in use. We were told to go down to Reception to collect keys for the new room. (I had to collect while half-rinsed...) The bedrooms seemed clean, if a little dated (part of the shower control missing in the second room) but the pool and leisure areas felt grubby and neglected. Under the benches in the women's changing room was filthy - as though any dirt had been swept under there. Lockers had rubbish in them that could easily have been removed. Areas couldn't have been cleaned regularly or properly. We wanted to swim laps of the pool which was possible but as the pool is small and half is dedicated to family swim, kids repeatedly jumping into the pool doesn't make it a relaxing experience. The men's changing room is at one end of the pool, and so therefore the toilets are too... the smell is strong. The infinity pool is a cool idea, to relax in the open air, and the jets did help my sore back, but it looks out onto a car park and the new housing estates.
