We were at the Last Drop for a wedding and didn't experience too much of the hotel but the bedroom was clean, breakfast was plentiful and my wife enjoyed half an hour in the hot tub.

This was a “buy a gift spa day” booking

We had a 55 minute massage each to start us off which did frustrate me as as soon as our masseuses walked into the room told us this would be a back only massage due to the lack of time.

I was also annoyed there was no Soap dispenser in the Gent’s changing room toilet - Why?

Also it was annoying I couldn’t add a bottle of water or 2 to my Hotel pre authorised credit card account in the Spa unless I walked to the Bar, why?

On the positive side the room was clean, the mattress had a topper with high quality bedding.

Also they served Long Island Iced Tea’s for £10.50 which in my opinion is a fair price.

They also had Al-A-Carte Breakfast which in the last 20 years I have only ever seen on Cruise Ships

I was really frustrated I asked for Poched Egg with my diner and my request was totally ignored but the Al-Carte Breakfast made up for it. We will visit again when our family Static is closed for the Winter Break

Ok hotel although missing attention to details. Nice spa with infinity pool that overlooks cars parked right under the pool and housing estate ( looks to be built after the hotel). Some furniture very tired and needs replacing, I stayed in 3 different rooms and all the pillows should be binned ( hard , flat and uncomfortable).

We have joined the gym/spa for use of leisure facilities but disappointed to see the changing rooms are in quite poor shape. Most of the mens lockers are out of use and the drains do not drain properly. The family changing room flooded completely after shower use making it difficult to dry off kids. The pools were lovely and seemed clean but the changing facilities are a let down for the monthly price compared to competitors. We will stay members for now and see if anything changes.

We were booked in for overnight stay with spa access and dinner and breakfast included. We had an executive family room for 3 adults which was spotless, with the most comfortable beds. The staff were so lovely and made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. The spa was so relaxing and we loved the different steam rooms. The dinner and breakfast included was lovely and fantastic value, we will definitely return.

Overpriced for the quality of the rooms although the hotel facilities were ok. The hotel facilities and the views Felt quite dirty inside the room, taps had black mould on the spout where the tap water comes out. Bed wasn’t so comfortable. Staff seemed overly busy so not the friendliest. Waited over an hour for breakfast although it was due to a chef going home due to illness so couldn’t be helped. Lots of spa day voucher visitors so the facilities were too busy

A lovely place but standards and customer focus seem to have slipped lately We have stayed here many times over the years when we go home to visit family for birthdays or other celebrations, it is very self contained and in nice countryside with a lot of on-site features like pub and spa and shops so you don’t need to drive anywhere. It doesn’t seem to run smoothly anymore, you cannot go at your leisure to use the spa, you have to book in advance and the reception don’t know about the spa and cannot book for you or call through. Also we had to book slots for breakfast, when you are on holiday you do not want a timetable for everything. Breakfast was quite pricey and not a great deal of choice, there was a full English but not buffet style and not much in the buffet itself. The staff in the pub the Drop Inn were a bit slow with serving and they rarely cleaned the tables. The view from the spa is now the back of some houses instead of open fields.
