Had to ask for cocktail sticks for olives

Last drop, was the best stop! Received a very friendly reception, and after having a prior booking elsewhere that was not so nice, it was very refreshing.

The staff were very relaxed and informative, nothing too much trouble.

The spa facilities were wonderful, and although we had a booked time slot, this did not feel mi ro managed in any way. We respected the fact it may be busy and just enjoyed our time there.

The food was also really nice, and they catered to our requests. Brunch was excellent, and it's clear they have improved their food quality. Great service too.
Would have been nice to have water in the room, but it's just a small thing that did not impact our stay in any way.

Spacious rooms, pool was bigger than expected and nice to have the spa facilities. We took our dog and she was made very welcome, service and friendliness of staff was disappointing, to the point that I would probably not stay again. Breakfast also disappointing in terms of choice and arrived not hot enough. We went to the on-site pub, and enjoyed the traditional pub games, good service in the pub and reasonable food.

A place we come back to because we like it so much, friendly staff and amazing chunkey chips. We have stayed here a few times now, we always feel very comfortable and the staff are so friendly, can’t do enough for you. Nothing

Lovely place, would defonetly recommend for a nice relaxing few nights away.

Staff are great and really attentive.

Breakfast was great too for £10 each 👍

Only downfall would be its a little expensive for food and drinks.

£3.40 for a coke is abit silly.

Again, amazing place, facilities and staff.
Paid £310 for 2 night stay for 4 with 2 dogs which is reasonable compared to other similar standard stays nearby!

Lovely stay and great value. The room we had was basic but don’t need more than that. The bathroom was lovely though! Had a relaxing visit to the spa facilities and evening entertainment in the Drop Inn in the evening (every Friday), so that was a nice bonus.

Would love to have stayed longer as we ran out of time & didn’t get to try out the spa facilities It was well placed for visiting family , well spaced out & dog friendly Curtains weren’t big enough for the window & let the light in early in the morning as our room was east facing

Beautiful place Absolutely stunning location.
Dog friendly
Helpful staff.
Room service was fabulous
The ONLY issue was sink wasn't draining. I removed the push button and it was filthy underneath.
Full of sludge and debris.

The reception staff were efficient and friendly at check-in and out.

The room was a little dated but clean. There were three of us sharing, so you would think they would leave 3 robes and slippers. We called reception, and an extra set was delivered quickly.

The spa area is small compared to other spas we have been to. There is a booking system, but I'm not sure how that is enforced if people stay longer than than their allocated time.

The evening meal was disappointing. Service was slow. We were there for over 90 minutes for two courses. The main course was average but the dessert was better.

Breakfast was a combination of continental and cooked. Cooked breakfast was made to order, but unfortunately, mine was cold. The coffee and tea were also luke warm. There are a lot of staff milling around at the restaurant. They just need to be managed better to make the service slicker.

Rooms were a little worn and we were put in a room that was over a garage where the main bins were - loud when removing and accessong. Room walls were paper thin... We heard everything, especially the two drunk men on the first night. Eventually they were escorted off the premises by the police. But this was from 1:30am in 5:30am.. so no sleep. Pillows were hard and flat.. not great Luxury. Spa was lovely! Loved the infinity pool! The Drop Inn pub was great....Food was brilliant.. good value for money and excellent staff. The breakfast restaurant was standard in the hotel. The continental breakfast consisted of a small bowl of chopped fruit and yoghurt, cereal and toast with small pain au chocolat. It wasn't full of choice and looked ravaged by customers both mornings. The cooked breakfast was nice enough. Some of the staff in there were lovely, some were not as welcoming.. one woman was sour faced.. for the family before us she was all smiles and then suddenly went stony faced and short with us. Whereas the gentleman was friendly and professional.
Overall, it was a nice area, great setting and the spa and gym were lovely with the Drop Inn being a great place to eat. Probably won't return.

Relaxing, peaceful home away from home. We felt very calm, happy and comfortable throughout our stay. Facilities were great, rooms were a great size. All staff were very kind and helpful, nothing was too much effort for them. Our stay was perfect.

Staff The dreadful red carpete to our room 1111. It felt like we were thrown there for last minute bookings.

Reliable comfort for business travellers Comfortable clean and quiet Bath with shower over is a little old fashioned these days. Breakfast could have been hotter.

We stayed here to attend a family funeral but have known the Last Drop for many years as we had our wedding reception here. We even managed to book the same room.
We stayed in the courtyard but were disappointed with the room.
The bed was comfortable and the room warm but it lacked the little touches you would expect in a 4 star hotel. The settee and chairs were stained it felt like a basic room.
Breakfast was good but the restaurant was shabby the viynl seats were cracked and uncomfortable the tables were sticky and scratched not 4 star standard, the dinner menu was very basic and a poor choice of wine all in all just a run of the mill place now it has lost its character.

We had our wedding here and the staff were absolutely wonderful. Our wedding coordinator (Jacqueline) was so helpful, patient and supportive in the run up and on the day. Everything was so well organised and the day went smoothly, but it was relaxed and informal. The operations staff, who set up our room and managed everything on the day, were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Our day was perfect and exactly what we hoped for. The location is beautiful and quirky. Perfect for gorgeous pictures!
