I went with my daughter for a spa day with treatments. It was lovely and relaxing and a nice way to unwind and spend the time together. Photos are not allowed in the spa to protect privacy. They have images on their website of the facilities.

Lovely hotel, reasonably priced and in a quiet location. Would definitely recommend. Brilliant, friendly and welcoming staff. Restaurant very good with prompt and discreet service. Lovely spa facilities although a little crowded. While the hotel is clean and pleasant, it could do with a general facelift. Rooms very hot at night.

difficult location, grounds paid £30 for late check out . As emmigrating and long night ahead .Disturbed 3 times by house keeping saying they were told we checked out. Trying to get four suitcases to reception our key cards were cancelled so couldn’t get through door by ladies wash room. Had to phone hotel on mobile!
Dinner in bar . service excellent food poor .Cob salad no avocado which is main ingredient. paid a lot of money for chicken leaves and the tiniest amount of blue cheese.
breakfast excellent and the best staff in hotel in my opinion. let down by atrocious music

Food excellent staff very friendly Hotel clean but the rooms need more attention. If you opened the door at the same time as making a cup of tea it got covered with fluff ect. Anything above shoulder hieght never got cleaned.
And most of the little shops on site were closed it was a bit like the ghost town.

Thirty years since we were last here what a transformation. The rooms were immaculate biggest bed I have ever seen. The staff were the smartest hotel team I have seen for a longtime. The food was excellent and reasonably priced and served by
Professional smiling staff
We will be back and we will not wait thirty years

We have just arrived home after our third annual trip to The Last Drop. We stayed in an executive cottage room.
We stayed for 4 nights. On arrival, the reception staff remembered us from last year and welcomed us warmly. Our room was big and clean, a little jaded though.
Julie and Jazmin from breakfast service were brilliant. They were very welcoming. Jazmin also gave us excellent service at the Bakery that has opened up. Go there for a fantastic toastie. The food cannot be faulted. The French onion soup (we found out was made by Leon) was AMAZING! Every member of staff we came into contact with were lovely.
Now, there is a change in the hotel since last November. There appears to be much less staff, who appear to be working as hard as they can to keep things going. The hotel is not quite as clean as it once was. The rooms are in need of new carpets and deeper cleans.
We ordered room service on Saturday evening. The tray was still outside the door on Monday morning when we checked out.
We will be back next year for our annual trip. We spend time painting in the Bluebell Pottery while we are there. However, I’m going to be keeping an eye on reviews. If they get worse, we will book another hotel and travel up to the pottery.
PLEASE don’t let this hotel and your staff be run into the ground. You have a brilliant place. If I was the manager, I would be carrying out regular daily walk throughs. They can then see where things may require improvement. It’s the best way to be present and create a team atmosphere.

Lovely place to stay but there needs to be improvements around breakfast delivery connected to staff The room was brilliant & was what we were looking for.
Breakfast was good but to be honest the staff were a bit disorganised when carry out their tasks.
We eat in the evening in the bar where the food was good.
Staff members at breakfast seem to have no structure as we had to ask 3 times for our coffee after we ordered it which also happened to the couple sitting next to us as well. When my partner's breakfast came out she was handed the plate by the member of staff but wasn't told that the plate was hot so burnt her hand when handed it.
The food in the evening, there wasn't enough mash potato when it was delivered for the bangers & mash. Very small helping considering it was listed as it was on the menu.
The only other thing which isn't really connected to the hotel directly was that when we were trying to get to sleep at night that there were children running around the stairs next to our room until very late shouting.

On arrival, Reception staff very welcoming & helpful. Room was lovely, clean & definitely spacious enough for the the 3 of us. Modern, clean, bright bathroom. Lovely staff at breakfast next morning, very helpful & attentive, with a very satisfying breakfast. Unfortunately, we only had a 1 night stay booked, as we were attending an awards evening, but the whole ambience & setting was fabulous & quirky. We are now planning a return journey where we can make the most of the setting & enjoy the spa treatments.

Stayed in one of the cottage rooms, we didn’t use the spa facilities that were included in the price but the option was there. Lovely place! Staff were friendly, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended

Booked the Wowcher deal last minute, this place isn’t too far from home but needed a break with the hubby that didn’t cost the earth. Deal included overnight stay, breakfast and spa access the night before and includes the following morning. I didn’t go with great expectations as some of the reviews were negative. How surprised I was! The receptionist was lovely, check in online was easy.. the room was spotless and was on the courtyard which was lovely lit up with fairy lights. Bed was super comfy and the bathroom modern with a powerful big walk in shower. Those complaining about a spider in your room, you’re in a semi rural area just kill it with a tissue and get on with your trip, deary me. Breakfast was fab. Asked for the bacon to be well done and it was perfect. Eggs were cooked perfectly poached and scrambled. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and all friendly and welcoming. The spa, well it was relaxing but don’t expect the woodland spa. But it was very clean and the big hot tub was great and all the thermal rooms were up and running. Yes the hot tub pool randomly overlooks a car park and some houses, maybe in time they can put a big screen up. All in all we have had a lovely relaxing short break for a great price and I won’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Thanks.

Very comfortable. The team are excellent. It was very busy but they still managed to serve very quickly. My room was a little dated but fully functional. Lovely hotel. I haven't had a chance to use the spa, but it looks welcoming.

Welcoming, helpful staff. Large rooms and a comfy bed. Great bar too! The staff were super friendly. The bar and restaurant was a nice feature of the hotel (and was open late too!). Nice big room with a large comfy bed. Room was a little bit hot upon arrival despite it being mild outside, but that's a very minor complaint soon sorted with turning the radiator off. Better than it being too cold either way!

Overnight spa package and evening meal stay. It was okay for £165pp mainly due to the company. The room was tired and had a large dirty stain on the fabric seat (room 55) and the bottom of bath is pure brown so we didn’t use. Comfortable beds and fantastic view 🤍🪴. Room has a connecting door, it’s literally someone’s else’s room - our ‘neighbour’ had a windy night…. we heard every drum roll and round of applause on offer. Spa/ infinity pool is not very big, lots of people who like ‘dancing like no one’s watching’ so be prepared for a lot of skin to skin contact and a decent view of the car park. Evening meal was exceptionally presented and cooked albeit most meals actually have an additional cost - we paid it to upgrade. Wasn’t overly busy but wasn’t asked if we would like any further drinks from our first and to be honest we probably would have ordered each time we were asked - for 3 hours dining - big margin missed. Spa treatment was very good and we were all happy with this. Breakfast was absolutely foul. Eggs tasted like plastic and awful Cumberland sausages or vegan.very limited choice didn’t eat anything. Toilets in the bar/ restaurant stink so bad that could be a drainage issue . Value = treatment £50, spa session £10 evening meal without sub £20, room for a 3 star ‘motel’ £50 breakfast £0 = worth £135

Great place and facilities Staff friendly and helpful. Comfortable room and great spa facilities. Food in the restaurant was wonderful. Order a grab bag breakfast when we checked in as we had to check out early but when we came to check out it wasn't on our booking and we ended up being late. We even checked after dinner where we should collect it from. Communication could be improved.
