The hotel is situated in a built up area, surrounded by housing but in a central location and easy to find.
Somewhat limited parking, with a small wall that runs through the middle of the car park causing confusion as to where is okay to park.
The Hotel has two seperate bars, a lounge area, three separate dining areas with two differnt menus, and a mock village around it that provides different services such as hairdressers etc.
My hotel bedroom was dated and in need of a revamp, but clean and tidy with all the basic necessities.
The food at the bar was average, mainly microwaved meals and the menu was a bit dull with the same old pub options.
The staff however, were amazing, very friendly, polite, and provided a great service.
The Spa is a great addition, and the main reason I chose to stay here. It just needs a few little tweeks to make it great, such as putting a switch/timer on the Jacuzzi, update the changing rooms as some lockers are broke, the clothing hooks on the seating bench are broke, along with some of the shower heads. The "infinity pool" overlooks the carpark, which in turn is overlooked by the local housing estate, not very scenic - A screen or hedge could be erected to improve the aesthetic. Also, I think an ice room would make a great addition to the Spa.

Fabulous. I absolutely love this property , I stay every time I’m in Bolton: we arrived to a prelit , warm and toasty warm room ready for us. I don’t like that I can’t just live here lol

Room and spa facilities were great. Had to walkout of the restaurant after waiting 15 minutes and nobody had taken a food order. It also wasnt that busy

I have visited this hotel for the Christmas Party nights on a couple of occasions in the past with work and on this occasion we decided to book two nights and have a nice mini break for a change!
Unfortunately we was very disappointed with the rooms and some of the facilities.
We paid £308 for two nights room only with breakfast at £18.95 each as extra.

The Room was very very basic, outdated and grubby and was in need a lot of attention and a good clean !! Blinds and curtains were falling off, the carpets not very clean and the furniture was very old fashioned and need of attention.
kind of ruined the moment really !

Breakfast was ok but definitely not worth £18.95 each they charged!

The SPA Facilities needed some attention and again was quite grubby and in need of a good clean, one of the steam rooms wasn't working along with one of the showers outside the steam room was broken, just felt very grubby overall and in need of some TLC.

It is such a shame this hotel has gone down hill as it was one of the best hotels back in the day. Just really needs to have some money spent on it and updating the rooms and some of the facilities.

When you are paying that kind of money you want some level of luxury ! I don't normally write reviews but was very disappointed with this hotel and would not recommend staying here for that price.

The staff were lovely, but I would only rate this hotel as average unfortunately and will not be returning until it has been updated. Sad to be writing this :(

Liked it here but would have stayed elsewhere except the location worked for us. Easy to get to Manchester city centre on train. Didn't eat here except for breakfast which was well organised and good. Plenty of parking and a bar. As always in the NW it rained!

Relaxing, good food Nice location, a real shame about the nearby building developments. Spa facility and pool is great and not too busy Decor is jaded, carpets can be stained/worn, paintwork edges are chipped. It is a really nice place but needs some TLC

Very professional staff. A big thank you to Regan the restaurant manager who returned my wallet having dropped it in restaurant a little earlier. I hadn’t noticed I dropped it!

If you are ordering a taxi from the hotel then make sure you double check again in the morning if you’ve booked through reception. They kindly booked one for me the night before but it no-showed in the morning and when the morning desk manager phoned to chase the taxi firm had evidently forgotten about it which caused me a 30 min delay (not the hotel’s fault) but managed to get an Uber instead.

The food was okay and service excellent. Not sure about the sprouts with Nduja sausage though as a side order - pancetta would have been more subtle. Very nice meal nonetheless.

Would recommend staying there if visiting Bolton since it’s a short cab ride from the train station and the staff, rooms and service were all very good.

I decided to visit to ease strained muscle with my son on a Tuesday ,the spa was confusing as the lockers were outdated and the locks complicated to operate .No instructions to work them or show you what to do .my robe was a squeeze to fit into but we bought flip flops from reception £4 each. The whole of the spa felt like it badly needed upgrading and money spending on it .Although I would still return as we enjoyed the visit spent 3 hours including swimmming.cheers

Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast, worth the money. Good spa. Overall a great stay. Comfy beds. Love the little village shops. So cute. The staff in the shops couldn't be nicer either. We went to the meal and party and enjoyed a night of dancing.

The hotel is definitely home away from home. We had fun as a group and did activities together.
Staff were very friendly and patient, they were always ready to help by showing you around or giving description.
They had some nice cocktail which was not too expensive.

I will definitely be coming back.

I went with my daughter for a spa day with treatments. It was lovely and relaxing and a nice way to unwind and spend the time together. Photos are not allowed in the spa to protect privacy. They have images on their website of the facilities.

Lovely hotel, reasonably priced and in a quiet location. Would definitely recommend. Brilliant, friendly and welcoming staff. Restaurant very good with prompt and discreet service. Lovely spa facilities although a little crowded. While the hotel is clean and pleasant, it could do with a general facelift. Rooms very hot at night.
