A lovely treat Room was lovely I know it wasn’t a standard room because I booked the upgrade so I can’t comment on standard rooms but it was worth the extra few £ for the upgrade my room was beautiful! Staff very friendly and super helpful. Friends who I met up with there had to change rooms as their room was the furthest away and at night the lighting going out of the main hotel round the back isn’t great so they changed rooms to main part of hotel also no Bacardi on the bar only a coconut Bacardi!

Been here a few times because we liked the facilities and the vibe but I haven't been since the last owner retired and I have to say some of the changes were a let down the drop inn food was beautiful though I cannot complain but the breakfast not being a buffet and having to wait to get bare minimum food 1 sausage 1 egg 1 bacon was a complete let down although it was lovely food the system was poor also we never had a problem with check in until this time the room wasn't ready and we had to wait in a huge que to check in after 40 mins after arrival also we didn't have a rested night because of dogs barking and loud talking early in the morning and staff slamming doors in the rooms next to us coming in and out of bedrooms other than that the facilities are second to none but more should be done about people taking photos and videos as it made us feel uncomfortable

Room was super clean and spacious. Ned comfortable. Only negative was that the lights on the heaters glow so brightly that room wasnt dark and that kept waking me up.
Seating area near bar is tired and could do with upholstering and the floor was littered and untidy, however the rest of the hotel was clean and tidy.
We have stayed here several times and give it a thumbs up, its not 5 star but it isstill a lovely hotel and very good value for money.

Was a nice setting. Woman at reception had a bit of attitude the polish/romanian lady. Forgot the name but other than that everything was good. Defo come back again.

I was really worried reading the reviews but thankfully we had a really positive experience. We shad a family room 1 large bed and 2 single beds, the rooms are a bit tired but clean but the bathroom was modern&clean&loads of wardrobe space. We had an executive room with robes, slippers&ESPA products.
The Spa area was the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel there are 5 different rooms to go in as opposed to the usually 1 sauna 1 steam room&there is a lovely hydro pool.
We didn’t eat at the hotel as we are visiting family. We are staying for 2 nights so still one night to go but no complaints and would definitely stay again.

We stayed here as a Christmas break away. Firstly we do have to say the staff were very polite and friendly.
The spa was lovely and relaxing and clean with fresh towels given at reception.
The room was basic but clean with a comfy bed and a powerful shower.
The one major let down for us was the breakfast, we had quite a bit of a wait for simple things such as sauce with us having to as 3 different staff members. We had a cold breakfast by the time it was finally given to us which was very disappointing.
The hotel itself is lovely and it was great to see people with their dogs as the hotel is dog friendly, next time we visit we will definitely bring ours.
Even with the breakfast let down we will definitely return In the future.

Poor quality food. Processed turkey hard veg . At £90 ahead !
We stayed for one night in this tired looking hotel . The executive room was poor with to single beds pushed together holding to uneven mattresses zipped together On the plus side the staff and manager were very polite.
