We wanted a nice relaxing spa break, what we got was a very busy one, we struggled to park when we got there, the restaurant was fully booked so we had to go elsewhere for food, we also had to book a time slot to use the spa. We couldn’t sleep as the bed wasn’t comfy and the pillows were rock hard, the outdoor spa pool was overlooking the carpark and a newly build housing estate, for all these reasons we wouldn’t go back.

Small and cute spa, 1 ‘T’ shape pool and swimming pool, 4 or 5 different saunas, 1 small warm water drinking fountain. No snack or drink area. Solid plastic spa beds. Got VERY busy late morning, only 1 towel given, so take your own head towel and flip flops. Shower need an update and clean more often, yucky grill on floor of shower, dirty toilet cubicle, needs hooks on shower doors, bit manky. Many lockers broken or without keys. Hairdryer completely useless and there was only one for everyone to share.

Well priced, nice hotel. Lovely, quirky hotel. Stay pretty regularly, staff always spot on. Great breakfast. Some areas of the hotel could really do with a revamp.

Started with a lovely treatment. The pool, hydrotherapy pool and spa facilities all fantastic. Followed by a lovely afternoon tea. A gentleman working in the afternoon tea section was outstanding (18/1 1.30). He never stopped working and was so attentive. Asset to the hotel. A fabulous day and a fabulous hotel. I will return and next time I will stay overnight.

I thought the stay was great value for money. We got a large room, perfect for us and the dog. The bar was clean and tidy, food was good, staff were very friendly. I used the pool for a swim, and found
That great too. Couldn’t fault it

Great stay, we would stay again, happy we had chosen the hotel and we were well looked after. Super location for hospital day operation. Has a great character. Interesting and lots of facilities. Good food and breakfast. Not gourmet but wholesome and more than adequate. Good value for money. The staff were all wonderful and really went out of their way to help, advise and ensure that we were looked after. Breakfast was good. Some areas such as the restaurant were a little tired but the restaurant team were wonderful. Great experience in the on site pub for dinner. Great pub food. Sad the circumstances meant we could not take advantage of the spa. Bedroom carpet could have been cleaner. Didn’t like the pillows but that is personal as the ones supplied were to prevent allergies and we like down.. No razor point in the bathroom and limited shower gel. Internet was not good and very variable in quality. TV worked only intermittently and not in all channels, a message kept coming up to check aerial. In room safe didn’t seem to work properly. It could have been me but I do travel a lot and always use the safe. Brought to attention of reception and when I had a problem the duty manager was there to help very quickly.

Staff cannot do enough to accomodate you and look genuinely happy in work. Cool buildings with a ‘holiday’ vibe. Despite a busy reception at check in they worked fast to ensure we weren’t waiting long. The rooms were very clean and well fitted out. The spa staff were attentive and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. We ate in the pub on site and the food was piping hot and lovely. All in all a wonderful place.

It’s a fabulous location with a very attractive little village full of craft shops, a lovely cafe snd lots of different food options. The staff were eindrf - and their ability to cope with a huge fall of snow - despite some staff not being able to get home or into work at the shift change - was absolutely exemplary. They also went above and beyond to help guests who needed to leave to get away safely. Bravo! Some of the decor / soft furnishings are a little tired and dated - but it’s easily made up for by the cheanlihess and diligence of the staff.

Had a really great overnight stay at the Last Drop Village. The restaurant and bar food were scrumptious, staff were very friendly and cheerful. We enjoyed our time in the pool, thermal spa and our spa treatments. A thoroughly enjoyable, cozy, relaxing time - and the weather outside was freezing! Our Christmas treat.

Pleasant stay needs reviewing on certain things Nice and clean .. staff fantastic.. excellent sauna, steam rooms pool etc Payed £155.00 to stay for the night .. tea and coffee facilities were ridiculous.. only 4 little milks .. which is enough for 2 cuppa’s
The Spa had no water drinking facilities other than a fountain which you have to drink from like a child in school .. no plastic cups. There should be bottled water free at the spa reception and then you can refill at the fountain.

Fitted to our needs completely It snowed a lot the night before leaving and some staff could not get to the hotel. The remaining staff adapted extremely well to the situation; they were superb. Some furniture and carpets could do with replacement.

It's the second time we have stayed. We bring our dog and it's very dog friendly. The staff are friendly and helpful. The snow has been very heavy y and we needed help to get dug out of the carpark. Big thank you to the gentleman who helped everyone. I think he said that his wife worked at hotel. What a star and very selfless x

Excellent value for money. Bar staff were great.

Good value for money.
Some areas of the hotel need spruced up and painted.

I love dogs, but not ones yapping when people walk past, and at 6am.

Just returned from an overnight stay. We booked the foodie lovers deal. This is included a check in at 2pm. Check out the next day at 1pm. A two course evening meal in the restaurant and a brunch or lunch the following day. We also go to use the spa facilities.

Our room was ok. The place could do with a bit of a revamp to be honest. But the room was clean enough. Again the spa facilities aren’t the best but the infinity pool was fab.

The food though was outstanding really enjoyed it we had an evening meal and opted for lunch after check in.

The drop inn pub which is onsite is fab for a few drinks in the evening. On a Friday they have a live singer on which we thought was great. They also have sports on, pool table and table football.

All In all we had a lovely stay for the price and would return.
